yeah they played a lot of jungle, if i remember correctly.

I guess it goes better with the hip hop flavour.

That's what I've heard. York does have EDM nights (or at least they used to once in a while @ the Underground). Cock and Bull did have jungle nights on Wed once in a while then they switched it to Tues or Mon I think. (can't remember). Friend of mine used to work for them.

Sonja - that's a good idea! I'm still up there at york and would love for something like that to happen. I'll help you out to reach this goal. PM me if you need anything. I know a lot of ppl at york who would be interested in this event, even though they r not TA's.

P.S. I actually wanted to do something similar at the underground last year for my birthday but it never went through cuz Tiesto was here anyway.

You should start a poll to see where people go to university because I bet a lot of people on here would like to see clubs like this at their respective schools. I sure as hell know I would love one of these at McMaster.

Alright this is building some momentum, so a website will be created and launched in the coming weeks. Also I don't see it being jus a trance club. Well it will be primarily trance. There's got to be a ton of ppl who are in to all the Dj's that cover the Ibiza scene. So mostly Trance but also house, hard dance, techno, dance music genres.

hey this is a great idea.....i WORK at york...security unfortunately...yes im one of the red monkies, haha.....anyways this would be a GREAT idea....because with the problems we have on thurs nights b/c of hip hop...it would be great to have ONE bar/pub that i know would be trouble free....with house/trance lovers theres bound to be no problems....well i would hope.

They are renovating the cock and bull now, so that could maybe work...however its known for the "pub" atmosphere....i know the spot is looking for something "new" since theres always so many problems.

Im sure some bar would go for it one night a week, even the underground..so many options.

Im in favor....and hopefully i would be off that night to party with u all....that would suck showing up in my red uni...haha

jungle night? i dont think thats present anymore.. i remember my roomates used to go to the cock & bull alot , and they said it was pretty much all acoustic and alternative/old rock type nights.. I saw some flyers posted around the school for the underground but nothing really advertised edm unfortuantely.. from what i noticed anyway .. i guess york edm nights are a thing of the past now lol

From what I have been reading so far, 80% of our members must attend York University, so yeah I guess we can take on some S@Y students.

I was at S@Y for 2 years, transfered over to York just recently for fall btw
