ummm who the hell refers to him as Dyk?

do u say buuren for armin?
or Silva if someone's name is de Silva?
or would u say Bir instead of O'Bir?
i could go on and on, but i hope you get my point. referring to paul van dyk as dyk is awful-sounding and not his last name. don't want to pick on something stupid but reading "dyk" in the thread topic for fave pvd night just annoys me.

and now that i got that out....

february 9 2001 @ twilo = best club night of my life

oh and by the way, paul van dyk is only a pseudonym in case you're not aware. i would post his real name (many of us past pvd-whores already know it) but markus' "PauLocator" aka the PvD-dar will go off and he'll post something like:

Hello,

we are very upset that paul's confidentiality has been exposed through the web by his fans. please delete this immediately.

The only time I've heard him play was in Helsinki, Sept 21, 2003
The place was really packed and steaming hot..
Paul played great tunes, and you could dance right next to the booth and see him spin from up close. The crowd was loving it, but I think he only had like a 1.5 or 2 hour set, could have danced to a whole lot more!

only saw him @ WMC this year. pretty good, but I'm sure his other shows were tehomg.
