Usually by the time they figure it out, it's a nice chunk of brake slam and a sore neck for a couple days.

To all those drivers that like to honk and be obnoxious ******s: If you're in a hurry, leave earlier asshole.

wow bravo... you are a champ, causing even more road rage and who are you anyways to enforce speed limits?? the friggin police??

steroprincess: highways too narrow in Montreal? since when 6 to 8 lanes too narrow?? they're not enough? you driving a Hummer? With the exception of the Monster-401 with its 12-16 lanes, the rest of your highways are as "narrow" and confusing for the out of towners.

And whenever I see a retarded Ontarian hugging the left lane and/ord driving at the (suggestive) speed limit, I take an immense pleasure to tailgate him/ highbeam / then pass by right then slam the brakes.... WELCOME TO MONTREAL MORON

i never meant the highway was narrow in MTL. the lanes are narrow. so a road that should have 2 lanes has 3.

Nothing to do with enforcing speed limits and everything to do with counteracting asshole drivers. If you're going to initiate asshole-ness, the least you can expect is for it to unfold back on you. What goes around comes around.

driving at speed limit is as bad as slowing down on someone, you are imposing your will on someone else in both case.

Either get out of the way or speed up.

That is VERY true of a certain stretch of the 20...where there are overpasses and stuff...after that little town with the traffic lights (travelling to Montreal)

thats a village, it stops being a highway.

Well, it's not Montreal but it's still somewhat similar to the Don Valley Parkway which I kinda consider a highway...and yes you start with the 40 but I take the 20 to get to Montreal Centre-Ville...so there's this stretch of what I believe is the 20 with a 90 limit and the lanes are pretty damn narrow...it's like a major route just outside of downtown Montreal--you consider that a village?

Some of us do leave well in time, and will make it there early whether you decide to go snail speed or not, we just don't like slowing right down to friggin 80, especially when driving in the left lane.

I hate it when people decide to go exactly the speed limit in the left lane (or slower ). Get the fuck out of there or do what everyone else does, speed the hell up!

thats because she's suffering PMS and don't get the jokes I'm throwing at her, I know I'm contradicting myself, its called doublespeak, say something do something else, especially against Ontarians Also, I don't mind the chitchat, I'm bored at "work".

Posted by arek on Jul-18-2005 17:19:

you can drive safely 10 over the speed limit. I usually drive 20 over.

left lane is for passing = faster drivers.

stay off it if you are going to drive the speed limit.

same thing applies on the highways.

dude thats like 40 kms outside of downtown, its a village called vaudreuil-dorion, federal wanted to built the highway thru the small town, citizens opposed it, and it stayed that way.

you take the 40, then 15 south, you're downtown, its a bit longer, but way faster.

only on the island of Montral you can't turn right, and for a reason. Try doing it without running over a dozen of people. Unlike Toronto, people over here actually walk in the streets and like New York where its also prohibited to turn on right, it's safer for pedestrians.

left lane huggers

I usually just pass them on the right, but if I am in a bad mood I either; give them a tan with my high beem, or pass them on the right then slow down infront of them for a while

Oh no not a PMS insult.

In my fragile woman state I am unable to bear the burden of your condescension. I am so weak and vulnerable in my domain of pre-menstrual stress. My emotions overwhelm me to the point where I seek out those actively to console my delicate and weaning inner-strength. Your harsh comment has utterly destroyed my self-confidence.

I fucking love how everytime a guy is getting one-upped in the insults, it's because the girl has 'PMS'. Gee, haven't heard that before. It's ok though, I understand the male's complete lack of understanding towards 'actual' PMS and recognize they like to cover the fact they can't keep up with verbal banter by simply playing the ever-popular P-card. Nice try.
