The law should either be amended or repealed... but either way, it's purposely being applied against straights and not against gays.

I can tell you that the bureaucrats are getting their marching orders from members of Toronto City Council, who have their own ideological agenda at play here.

you really seem to have gay-straight issues...try arguing against the issue at hand (i.e. the stupidity of making Ms. Universe removing the sash) instead of attemtping to relate it to something else. What they did was dumb...and wrong, IMHO...but suggesting that this is about repressing hetero sexuality is off the mark...

I bet the CHIN picnic will not be affected (they have a Ms. CHIN or something, if I recall)...so if you disagree with me, let's wait and see (or did it happen already? I don't know...I never go to that thing).

THis city is a fucking joke so why should anyone be so surprised...I mean we have 6 city councilors who sit on the TTC board who spent thousands of dollars to go to a useless transit convention in Europe and they come back with bullshit ideas as to how to get MORE people to take the bus such as a "joke" bus, etc....so WHY is everyone so surprised at this latest idiocy...
