31,000 sq. feet? Is this bigger than Mansion?

Not sure if I am thrilled about the club having 6 rooms with a few non edm music rooms. It should be an interesting crowd to say the least.

"It wouldnt be Miami without a hip hop room, of course, and Shelter will offer all the urban ambiance anyone could want. A graffiti mural already covers the back wall, while chain link fencing divides the VIP lounge and DJ booth from the rest of the space. For added authenticity, an endless line of subway cars will scroll across a giant video wall."

I'm really hoping that they dont try to focus too much on Hip-Hop.. and try to bring that crowd over to the downtown scene.

You would think that .. but not at Nocturnal. Everytime I have been there the Main Room has been dead.

the patio is basically the mainroom at noc, all nite long. which is kinda of sad. i think they need to get a little less selective at the door and that might crank things up a bit.

There have been so many problems with this club. Club plans have been off, then back on, then off, then back on...

I've heard there's been permit issues, contracting issues, and some construction issues.

Hopefully, it's smooth sailing from now on.
