It's a great club in terms of size but I will say that the average TA will go there for the music, not the atmosphere. I can see why a DJ wouldn't want to go back because seeing 90% of the people are just on way too many drugs to even realise who they are, no apprectiation for the music etc. Another thing, and I'm really hoping they do something about this for Matt Darey, is do something to the bass. I know it's a club for harder genre's but the least they can do is tone it to a level that the melodic parts of the tracks are more emphasised than the bass. It can be done; for Cor's set, there were some songs with practically no bass and the songs sounded amazing. I'm just thinking that Darey is spinning almost as proggy as Sasha or Markus would now and for his set to sound like different Bass Speed's would be a horrible waste.

we had a professional come in last week to adjust all the levels to perfection Tygon's set was absolutely amazing heard on the dance floor
hopefully Jayx1 will be back for Darey!

As for the asians... hey, they're just there to have a good time like anyone else. I'm glad those of you that have been there aren't so quick to judge a club based on something like this. It means you're there for the music... which is STILL the most important element!!

This Friday SHOULD be me again filling in for Chiclet (I'll confirm this in a few hours) and if so, I'm bringing in a fellow Paradigm DJ to help open the night up. NuEra is another kick ass Trance DJ and should do a great job also. I'm looking to record these sets for those of you that haven't been able to make it out (you'll know how much you're actually missing)... hehe...

As for the asians, we dance when the shit gets real good .

most of the ones in the back are too busy with other things to dance... hahaha i wont say nothin.

some of the kids and stupid guys take it to another level though, overdoing the drugs.

alotta people are comin to viva now that room19 closed . im going to viva in 2 weeks with a lotta my buddies, be jammin and rollin.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for mentioning the loud bass ...That nite @ Viva with Cor Fijnman was really bugging my hearing...I think that when DJ Key threw down some bassy tracks that I even had to plug my ears (even WITH ear plugs)...Please make sure that the new PROPER settings are kept under lock & key so that noone fucks around with the levels

Actually the sound pro gave me a crash course about the system at Viva... he taught me all the basics of having great sound. So IF this happens again, I'll be able to fix it better and quicker than I did for Cor/Norman.

but as was previously mentioned, it's always best to have Jay there! Hehe... afterall I'm just the DJ!!!!
