I think I'am hooked on preset number 8 on superwave trance pro. Only trouble is I just carn't seem to mod it enough to make my own sound out of it and always go back to it's original form.
Just out of intrest if you really liked the preset would you use it as it is or keep trying to modify it?

If I really liked it, I wouldn't want to change it. It's really up to you, by all means keep playing around with it and maybe you'll make it a little more suited to how you want it. It's kind of subjective though, if you really are happy, why change it?

why dont you try to hybrize it, this function randomly picks 50% of all knobs and randomizes them. The resulting sound will be like the original preset, but a bit different. Just repeat this 342943 times until you have the sound you like most...
I dont know about other programs, but fl studio has this function.

hahahaha

thats what i used to do 4 years ago and then i actually started thinking so now i dont have any unique sounding layers anymore
