Sorry but I prefer James limited amount of productions to most anything Tiesto has ever done...save for some of his older stuff.

I rip him now because he is nothing but a fucking joke these days. Some DJ's who are huge are still on the ball (Sasha, Digweed), Tiesto is a clown.

well the position he is in the work he does cant really be seen or heard (in this case)...once u become famous its more about all that business and touring crap

think about it...u spend ur whole day meeting new promoters & people in the business, by the time the day is done, u have barely any time to produce...

i guess he made the mistake by steping up to such a high level of fame, but thats his problem, and that is why good famous musicians is somewhat an oxymoron...but tiesto is still DJ Tiesto in my mind, and his productions and mixes and remixes from 1999-2001 will always be with me and for that i still love the guy

Besides his trademark tracks that you will always see appearing he is pretty good at keeping it fresh. Yes you will see a few old tracks here and there but to say a entire set is old material is complete bullshit.

He is not confined to the mcprog trance that is destroying the scene right now as well.

and like many people said before, he is the one rolling in the stardom . Ory you're just the one complaining on a message board.

the truth of the matter is dance music NEEDS guys like tiesto. its a name like TIESTO who can suck the average joe who doesnt really know anything about electronic music into our scene. as time passes taste evolves & progresses resulting in the inevitable, genre changes. people expand their horizons or just arent challeneged enough with trance trance trance. you will always have "commercial" names out there in any form of music but the reality is, its always the forward thinking musicians who are breaking boundries & pushing the music into newer dimensions. sasha & digweed are two prime examples of this along with many others. so before people start bashing tiesto you have to remember, hes not claiming that he is in anyway "a ground breaking dj" hes just the BIGGEST COMMERCIAL named dj out there and NOTHING MORE.
