Check out "Faith (Loafer Mix)" by Starecase. It's more prog than trance but it's still got meaningful lyrics. It can be found on Tiesto's "In Search Of Sunrise 3" CD. I don't take the lyrics to neccessarily be talking about a lover, it could be about God, since the song is called Faith.

Waiting for the sun
I need to
Know if you are there to
Carry me home

I reach out
To you with my arms wide
Open and I ask you if I am alone

Be the
Truth that all I see here
Even if it brings me
Pain I will go on
I find the
Joy I feel
The beauty
In all you bring to me
Just where I belong.

Give me all I need to find the faith

Give me all that I need to feel the
Love I need to breathe need to
Find the faith that I have inside
I know I am not alone

Give me all the love
You bring through
Help me to be all I need to
Be so I can hear the inside
With you
I am not alone.

most vocal trance tracks are pure bullshit which almost makes you laugh. and the vocals often doesnt fit with the music at all. This is due to the fact that the producer first makes an instrumental version of the tracks without the vocals in mind and later just adds the vocals (one good example is 4 Strings - Into the night).

though there are a small amount where you can clearly hear that the producer didnt just produce an instrumental version but actually did the music suitable for the vocals from the start.
One example are the Space Brothers tunes such as The Light, Chakra - I Am etc. golden stuff

The Space Brothers knew how to make vocal trance.

Chakra good one, still get shivers of Chakra - Doors, Kate Kameron one of the few vocalists who actually puts emotions in her lyrics

I agree. Some of the tracks/lyrics posted above are just ridiculous. If "meaning" for some means "I can figure out in 5 seconds what the singer is talking about" then its hopeless...
