I recently switched from Astoria Federal to Citibank, I am loving citibank, the only thing is they are really anal but its for your protection, anyway dont go to Astoria Federal they rape your wallet.

I signed up with Washington Mutual, but from what the person told me, they are merging with another bank *shrugs*. My cousin and a bunch of friends have accounts there and have no complaints, so Ill see what happens.

| Originally posted by niinah I'm also looking for an account to store my leftover summer salary. I definitely need an account with no fees. I'm not expecting to use it except maybe once in a few months or so, and probably maintaining a decent balance. Oh, and online baking is almost a must. Actually I don't even have a social security number at the moment, so opening a savings account is going to be difficult, if not impossible? All suggestions and comments are welcome - and sorry Vlad for borrowing your excellent thread |
