I like his acting style. So he's not the best music artist... at least he makes people smile with his music. I'm sure no one wants to go pop a cap after listening to gettin jiggy wit it or switch. At most they laugh through the whole song b/c of the ridculousness of it.

Hell yes... Nightmare on My Street. I have this and was originally exposed to it when I was a kid because my dad has it on vinyl!

in terms of real rappers ( anyone but will smith) it doesnt really matter if they bite a beat, because its all about the lyrics anyways, the music is just there in the backround

its not uncommon for a single rap beat have over a dozen diff versions by different artists

I commend him on his ability to write more positve lyrics (if he does wrote his own lysics, not sure) but I still think he sucks.

Now days I believe Will Smith AKA Fresh Prince of Belair is more of an actor than a rapper. Back in the early to late 90's he had alot of hits such as "Boom Shake the Room"(good tune), "Getting Jiggy With It"(the only track that white people can understand). After watching Hitch, Will Smith is best being an Actor.
