hey I love Private Function....I was a big supporter in the early days. Just not going to pay those sort of $$$ to

a) go to Altitude.

b) see a guy I know nothing about.

Now that I think about it, I saw T-Bone (Tyler Stadius) play at Altitude a little over a year ago. Find me a DJ Rib Eye and I'll have one pretty amazing steak-related DJ trifecta going, me thinks...

Mmmm Vlados

Posted by Dean Millson on Aug-11-2005 13:30:

Yes indeed most amazing steaks ever. Vlado is actually Sasha Petrovic's uncle believe it or not! We've had many a PF dinner prepared by Vlado, he even gave us a bunch of meat for a bbq we once had - how lucky are we!

*removes everyone from the dinner table and brings them back to the dance floor*

Posted by Lister Cooray on Aug-15-2005 22:46:

I was pretty disappointed in you Dean..all i wanted was one track Tom Novy - Your Body (Dean Millson rmx) and you left it at home. Make sure you bring all your tunes with you next time :P

Posted by batemanscott on Aug-15-2005 22:51:

lol

Posted by Dean Millson on Aug-16-2005 00:03:

haha - sorry

i remember someone telling me once that a great way to 'deflect' requests was to apologize, tell the requester that you have the track but that unfortunately you didn't have it with you. That way you empithize with the person, but let them down nicely.

I thought it was a great idea then i remembered how many times it had been said to me when i used to hovered around the decks

Re: Fortier Jules, I might be able to arrange that... watch this space

Posted by 00soups00 on Aug-16-2005 00:05:

tis better to say you didnt bring it with you instead
of 'yeh ill play it' and not get around to it..

if u say 'i didnt bring it with you' then the punter
can walk away thinking, i know my tunes better then the
dj..

instead of -

that pompus stuck up, glasses wearing dj didnt play my tune!!

Posted by Dean Millson on Aug-16-2005 08:08:

i love you too soups
