The U.S. State Department translation of "novus ordo seclorum" is:

"A new order of the ages"

"Novus ordo seclorum" was not intended to mean (nor does it correctly translate into) "new world order." Seclorum is plural (new worlds order?). And Charles Thomson said the motto refers to the new American era beginning in 1776. Also, "new world order" is originally an English phrase whose Latin translation would not be "novus ordo seclorum."

Im sorry but the Crips and the Bloods arent anywhere near the level of organizaion of the societies i mentioned. (nor do they makes as much money) The organizations i mentioned arent secret because of who they are (after all we all know of the existence of any above named societies), they are secret as far as there modus operandi and as far as the influence that each one exerts.
Some of the different "criminal organizations" as you call em have more poer than several nations combined. As a matter of fact the denomination "criminal organization" is given to many of them simply for being the competition of the status quo (national governments). An example of this is the Drug Trade (definitely a lucrative business), National Governments fight the so called "War on Drugs", only to ensure their own monopoly over the drug trade. Opus Dei is not much different, they primarily serve the goals of the of certain religious denominations, and these in turn trade in souls (yet another lucrative business)

No, they aren't. Clearly the sarcasm went right over your head. The bigger point was that the organizations you pointed out don't really fall into the category of "Secret Societies". At least not within the context of this thread. Someone please tell me if I'm mixing up my Ps and Qs.

No I am way beyond there. So is anyone else watching the program about secret societies on the history channel? Brings back my memory about this thread.

I just wanted to bring out maybe we should start our own secret society ......no that would never work out with so many different charecters.

I believe the bilderberg are the most powerful however there must be another secret society controling that one.

STUART: Listen, Sonny Jim, it's a known fact there's a society of the five wealthiest people in the world, called the Pentaverate, who run everything and meet three times a year at a secret country mansion in Colorado, known as "The Meadows."
CHARLIE: (sarcastic) And that's obviously why we haven't heard about it in the newspapers.
STUART: (inappropriately angry & loud) That's right. They fuckin' own the papers, smartass. And everything else. Why do you think Scotland's not been able to get independence? Because the Queen the Pentavirate and those English dome heads in West Minster won't have it.
CHARLIE: Who are the other members of this pentaverate?
STUART: The Queen, the Rothchilds, the Gettys, the Vatican, and Colonel Sanders before he went tits up. Oh, I hated the Colonel with his wee beady eyes. And that smug look on his face.
CHARLIE: Dad how can you hate "the Colonel?"
STUART: Because the Colonel puts an addictive chemical in it that makes you crave it fortnightly.

I think these societies do exist, but I also think they do not have ABSOULTE control over world events... There are always people that wont go along aren't there?

Posted by metalgearsolid on Oct-04-2005 17:15:

What would have happened if millions of American and British people, struggling with coupons and lines at the gas stations, had learned that in 1942 Standard Oil of New Jersey [part of the Rockefeller empire] managers shipped the enemy's fuel through neutral Switzerland and that the enemy was shipping Allied fuel? Suppose the public had discovered that the Chase Bank in Nazi-occupied Paris after Pearl Harbor was doing millions of dollars' worth of business with the enemy with the full knowledge of the head office in Manhattan [the Rockefeller family among others]? Or that Ford trucks were being built for the German occupation troops in France with authorization from Dearbom, Michigan? Or that Colonel Sosthenes Behn, the head of the international American telephone conglomerate ITT, flew from New York to Madrid to Berne during the war to help improve Hitler's communications systems and improve the robot bombs that devastated London? Or that ITT built the FockeWulfs that dropped bombs on British and American troops? Or that crucial balI bearings were shipped to Nazi-associated customers in Latin America with the collusion of the vice-chairman of the U.S. War Production Board in partnership with Goering's cousin in Philadelphia when American forces were desperately short of them? Or that such arrangements were known about in Washington and either sanctioned or deliberately ignored?"

quote:
During my work, I realized early on that Mossadegh, the prime minister of Iran, had been the Man of the Year for Time magazine in 1951. And after I realized that, I went to some trouble and I finally located a copy of that Time magazine. And I framed it, and I have it up on my wall. And it gave me the feeling that, not only am I digging up this episode again, but I'm bringing back to life this figure of Mossadegh. He was really a huge figure in the world of mid-century. This was a time, bear in mind, before the voice of the Third World, as we now call it, had ever really been raised in world councils. This was a time before Castro, before Nkrumah, before Sukharno, before Nasser. Mossadegh actually showing up in New York and laying out Iran's case and by extension the case of poor nations against rich nations was something very, very new for the whole world. And what a figure he was. This book is full of amazing characters. Not just Kermit Roosevelt, the guy who planned the coup. But Mossadegh - tall, sophisticated, European-educated aristocrat--but also highly emotional, a guy who would start sobbing and sometimes even faint dead away in Parliament when giving speeches about the suffering of the Iranian people. When he embraced the national cause of that period, which was the nationalization of the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company, he set himself on a collision course with the great powers in the world. And that collision has produced effects which we're still living with today.

To the best of my knowledge, there isn't anyone in my family who is currently working for the CIA. I know for a fact that my grandfather was, but he passed away several years ago.

My great-grandfather was a Freemason. A good friend of mine has been trying to get me to join for over a year now but I doubt that I'm ever going to.

This Act establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President signs this bill, the invisible government by the Monetary Power will be legalized. The people may not know it immediately, but the day of reckoning is only a few years removed. The trusts will soon realize that they have gone too far even for their own good. The people must make a declaration of independence to relieve themselves from the Monetary Power. This they will be able to do by taking control of Congress. Wall Streeters could not cheat us if you Senators and Representatives did not make a humbug of Congress. . . . If we had a peoples Congress, there would be stability. The greatest crime of Congress is its currency system. The worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking bill. The caucus and the party bosses have again operated and prevented the people from getting the benefit of their own government."

Wait a second TX your friend wants you to be a freemason?! Why are you not going to join!! Do you not realize the mistake you are making by not joining? You can become really powerful and rich. That is what everyone wants. You can still be against them. In fact you can be like Angel. You join wolfram and heart and you destroy them from within because they are evil.

I serioulsy am ashame of you TX. I thought you were smarter than that. But I against you can live your life the own way you want to. I mean seriously you can waste away reading lots of books and improving yourself. But you won't ever get a chance to know the truth of the freemasons. Not unless you all ready know everything about them. Which I highly doubt you do.

If you've seen that then see an episode of the Simpsons called "The Great Homer" where he joins a secret society called the Stonecutters. What a trip.

I don't believe they're all white. They're more luciferian than white. Sounds religious but with religious undertones in secret societies what can you expect? A guy who swears secrecy to his "boys club" whilst lying in a coffin naked sounds occultic to me.

You're right there is no conspiracy if it's out in the open.

Found this rather quick:

60% Of U.S. Believe Life Exists On Other Planets

No one has held a poll, that I can find, if people believe secret societies exist. But they do believe in little green men from outer space.

Taken from an online article:
A truly secret society tries to hide the fact that it exists, and certainly conceals the identity of its members.

There was a conspiracy that claimed Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. To this date none have been found.
