Great Job

Similar to many people who've posted on this forum, I've never heard the original, but this track sounds awesome and sounds like you have spent alot of time on it. Thanks for sharing it! It's a great track. If you don't mind I'd like to refer my DJ friend to spin this at a local club.
PM back!

-Or at least let me put it on my MP3 Player

this is very pro indeed jay m, sounds like you decided to spend alot of time perfecting this tune.

i dont know the original either but this sounds like a worthy release to me, love that echo percussion effect thing you use in the intro. every sounds good cant really fault anything.

great work man probably best i've heard from you.

Posted by Jay M on Aug-16-2005 16:05:

Id did spend some time on it, but not extremely much hehe. I'm glad you like.

You can play it out atm if you want.

Nice progression. Not much for that echoing snare but the rest is quality. Good production.

this is sweet. some really cool effects, good bassline, nothing to fault realy. good work

A pretty forumlaic track but your production of it is something special. You got serious skills man. All your productions sound like they are covered in liquid or something. Very nice stuff but try to break out of the tried and tested a bit more

Posted by Yoshi on Aug-18-2005 07:02:

Very very cool! A realy great melody and a synthy. Keep continue that style. You are getting better and better! That's all i can say. How are you making that cool beat? A sample or a VSTi? I love what you made with the melody at 2:06 to 2:14. Very emotional, as the whole track. But you should rename it in Ferry Corsten vs. Thrillseekers, cause there are much more elements from Steve then from Ferry in the Original Track

PS: Anything new about "Mayflower Remix"???

I remixed cloudland, nothing new there, yet..

Cool remix Jeroen. I prefer the Thrillseekers one, but this is also good, you introduce some nice new elements. Oh, and thanks for letting us know where to find that preset .

It's Ferry Corsten vs. The Thrillseekers but anyway here is the review.
Nice sparkling sound in the intro.
But why didn't you use your own melody?
Nice recreation of the lead.
It's kind of low in the mix.
When it kicks in you should add some more precs and make the snare just a bit more punchy.
The atmosphere is much dreamier then the original.
Good remix.
I am expecting a little bit more fx/prec work here but other then that it's nice.

4/5

Posted by Jay M on Aug-20-2005 12:47:

Thanks.

@ the drow: Yep it was created by Ferry and the Thrillseekers but released under just 'Ferry Corsten' with a Thrillseeker remix. More percs.. there's actually plenty in there, so im not adding anymore..

Anyways, cheers!

i like the progression and the elements you added, especially those 'counter melodies', good work, sound quality is also cool,

keep it up!

I was medling with the Noise Decay preset the other night, but never thought it actually sound so similar to the Thrillseekers lead synth (which I've noticed a lot in his recent productions). You've done a good job on the remix. I dig the progression where the lead synth is introduced; gives it a nice edge and originality. Also, during the climax where the "falling" melodies are layered in the background gives the track that magic touch, which I like very much. The outro is kinda short though, I would like to hear the kick cut out then leaving the bass-synths end it at about 7:30 or around 8. Overall, good production!

jiipppiii ... thats a sound what i think is right to get the remix of sublime .....

massive massive work

Posted by stefanoc on Aug-26-2005 08:41:

not bad at all, although it can be done better.
that flute noise that plays in the original track should definetely be louder. drums, kicks should sound heavier and bassier. there are a few other minor things that can be adjusted. but other than that, great job.

Posted by Pinokio on Aug-28-2005 04:36:

Very Veyr Nice Yarune, I love the Feel that you give to the track

I like your sound in here, do you have another productions, coz I'm interested in listen to other stuff produced by you.

Thank You.
