Nee, maar ze begrijpen gewoon niet wat HOLLAND heeft betekent voor de ontwikkeling van trance joh!!!
maar ach, daar kunnen zij ook niks aan doen.. ze hebben gewoon echt niet door wat Holland voor de electronische muziek betekent heeft... electronische muziek is hier pas echt aan gaan slaan (ik denk aan gabber enzo..) kunnen ze ook niks aan doen!

I dun think any of us here are in any way part of the "etilist" thing that someone on this board described I'm starting to hate the shit that's going around in toronto now, luckily I'm not part of it because believe it or not I have very few friends who listen to trance music or anything electronic for that matter (that's why Dj Furee can be found in reggae clubs in the weekend ).. I enjoy this board because I don't think that anyone looks down on another and thinks they know more them that's bullshit(I've learned about a lof of songs and djs and producers here and it's cool to have different peeps from around the world with their opinions and influences) because we all contribute and share the good tunes we listen to!!

The thing about this board is it's truly about music first and I that's why it's wicked..

Just have to explain some of my points since my msg wasn't understood correct, then I'll shut up about this (promise ).
First of all I wasn't trashing your country, I merely stated that you had no right to call it "no. 1". When I was refering to "your trance-icons" I meant "Hollands trance-icons" (I like them too), and when I said they weren't being innovative...I mean listen to Armin's "Blue Fear" which is years old and his remix of Yahel - Devotion, which is quite new. Don't you hear similarities?

Next, about the parties: The drug-comment was aimed at your impressive ability to gather thousands at your parties, and for Berlin and Ibiza - I didn't say they were countries.

(Oh, about the my dad can beat your dad post, it was supposed to be a joke...Well, how do you respond to a mature post having a original interpretation of your nic as it's main point?)

Here in NY trance is just beginning to take hold, anyone here from NY please listen to 92.7 on mondays from 10pm to 12:00 you'll see. Because it is just taken hold it jas not become mainstream, although many of you may argue that since it is on an American radio station it is mainstream. To be honest house music is mainstream here, I think its totally played out, trance has much more "soul" to it. Some mainstream trance is played during the day (alice dj, rank1 etc.) but they also play some "underground" trance during special hours, I call in just and ask them to play good trance(ie our trance)and the majority of the time they have no clue, but i must admit they are starting to catch on.

By the way that vengaboys song that we could characterize as trance is kiss but lets remember its the airscape mix!!!!
