Well, I really enjoyed the track but it lacks drive...kick and hi-hat are weak. It's not something I would bump in my car. It's something more for studying or for listening before going to bed...really smooth and dreamy. After that pad (2:51), I would love to hear a Supersaw...I am not a fan of that sound but there, I think it would work to give the track a bit of climax and mass. Anwyay, I give it 3.5 out of 5.

great track guys... i really like it alot...

i honestly believe tracks dunt have to be anthems all da time, despite how everyone is chasing after the next anthem... for wut this track is, it delivers nicely... the emotion is there, the sounds r nice... all around its really nicely done...

keep it up u guys do great work... =)

I enjoyed this track!! I really did. As andru said, not really an anthem, but who cares? It has some nice "just awake" kinda feeling to it. I enjoyed the bass and the effects! Really cool! nice one mates!

Cheers
Tombo

It's a fluffy, dreamy track that would fit any label at the moment. Probably will end up on ASOT whatsoever... Sorry, it's not really my style, everything sounds too simple. I feel it needs more balls to it to be even able considering a release.

Sorry for sounding harsh; I'm just fed up with tracks like these (definately nothing personal)

Cheers,
Wim

I wouldnt say harsh Wim, just honest & i cant criticise for people being honest!

Yeah Luke, fire away with anything you'd think might help!

very good stuff, reminds me of 1998/1999 dream trance

just a minor complaint.. the strings do not sound as wide as they could be. which is a bit of shame, as the rest of the track sounds very good indeed, especially the bassline.

Posted by Sheen Trickz on Aug-19-2005 22:05:

ello,

I like the track since 02:20 to be honest very very cool , especially when all those sounds goes together a little bit further.. really nice.. i will keep it on hdd..

Can you share the full track in 64kbps or something?
I would really like to hear the full.

Posted by Frase on Aug-21-2005 01:16:

Cheers Sheenz for listening

Drow: Probably not, just want to keep any full versions strictly to labels/djs etc at the moment - im sure you'll understand

Small update on this, We've got support now from Jon O'Bir (he gave it a run out at gods at the weekend), Riley & Durrant on their Galaxy105 FM Show & Marc West!

damn you guys must be excited

btw how do you just GIVE your track to djs? mail im guessing or do you personally know them?

Posted by rqpeyruxvg on Aug-23-2005 06:28:

Kick and bass is great, percussion is also spot on, hats and bongos work a treat. The elements are very melodic also. The clap fx works nice. The saw pad is good, not too bad, very middy and flat but it works...

The bit i like is when it enters the breakdown with the bass stalling... nice effects.

Good luck with the signing.
Terry

The offbeat bass sounds really nice, but a rolling type of bass would make it better imo. The percussions and fx are awesome guys. Really good job on that. In the main part I just feel like there should be more in there. An arp would be nice, a lead or maybe even a piano is something that could make the main part more interesting.

Good luck signing this track and i'd like to hear a version if you guys decide to update it.

Yaz - Waveforms 052 (on Crystal Clouds)
awesome set

Talking

Just want to say thanks people!

As Frase mentioned earlier, we didnt want to make a masive anthem, we just wanted a nice melodic tune that takes you away for a bit.

To be honest I dont really like tracks like this, but I thought I'd have a stab at it and try and give it a good soundscape like I did with 'Shelter'. Me and Frase are really bowled over with the excellent feedback we are getting at the moment!

Thanks again

Steve Callaghan
