I would also agree however us vision people dont understand how powerful blind people become.

For instance my drive up ATM has those dots on the numbers for blind people to know what numbers they are pressing THE DRIVE UP ATM.

yea if your occipial lobe is removed you will still have....hehe, hoe I spell this right, Lateral Geniculate Nucleus (LGN) activity. This is where the opponent process theory of color vision takes place. It off on the side of the hypothalamus, so it is subcortical.

The thing about vision that amazes me is that 70 -80% (I think I got those numbers right) of what we see, is based off communicatino from the occipital lobe to the LGN, meaning, your brain is just going off old info for the most part.
