It's so easy to put down the Beatles when you have other legendary artists to compare them to, the majority of which came AFTER the Beatles, or at least after their groundbreaking albums (Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's). What you must realize is that at the time no one was doing what the Beatles were doing. They went from one of the first boy bands to Radiohead-like studio masters. I can't even fathom what the Beatles could create with modern day studio equipment.

seriously tho, although not a big fan, i do have respect for their music and understand why they are such a legend.

and i loved it when The Simpsons parodied them in an episode. classic.
