My problem is the negativity. Jesus, if you don't like something don't go. There are a shit load of clubs that I don't particularly like, but I don't go trashing them on a public forum. I'm sure a lot of you guys would be quite happy that all clubs will close. BTW if the crowd at bass is so shit why do you want it to close??? According to you, bass will be soaking up all the dick heads, when it closes where are they going to go??? Your clubs!

I am really serious about this, the more people bitch about the scene the shitter it'll get. I don't see why people can't realise this. Especially over the last 6 months the vitriol has become rediculous. I am a member of a lot of forums, both here and overseas. This forum has the most jaded people I've ever come across.

If the scene is shit then get out of it!!!

I think this basically sums up the whole Industry at the moment, not just the Majik crew. The big explosion in the scene, that we have all been waiting for, has just begun. Seriously, I think the bitching is just a sign of a healthy industry .. if you can survive the bitching (which generally is never really that personal) .. you will get the best and most of what this scene has to offer.

BTW .. there is no such thing as being jaded .. its called "knowing exactly what you like and dont like."

Look, 'at the end of the day' (as woggy as that sounds), Majik are onto something big, and have been, for the past few years. Regardless of your 'refined' views of them, they have continued to run one of, if not, THE most successful Saturday nights in Melbourne. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is a great paradigm of indication

The things that are in store in the future...Well, those who 'trash', would sure be eating that trash....Pay respect where its due. Having said that, I'd also like to see anybody else match this succession, particularly those who SLAG.

Oh...I forgot...This was about the Bass Station move...Oh, interesting...Palace would be a great venue for Majik.

mate i hear where you're comin from and your heart is in the right place BUT you're floggin a dead horse. forums are a haven for negativity, they thrive on it. i dunno what it is, maybe to do with the anonymity. you think TA is bad? go have a look at the same thread on itm's melbourne forum. so yeah, let them bitch. as long as you dont let them affect you, they wont. i used to frequent bassstation on a weekly basis (thats right ****s), fuck my best nites have prolly been at bass... heck i even started a thread championing midro in my n00bla days. so what im saying is, make sure you shelve all the way err i mean live and let live as the haterz bitch on an internet forum.

I don't affiliate with Zos or Majik, nor do I particularly like their music policy or what they set out to represent as you know, but you are right; no one can deny the 'success' of the majik brand.

Any person or people, who can fill a venue every weekend, week in week out for years, deserve some respect regardless of music genre, and to a point have mine.

I�m not just talking about just a normal regular crowd either, these punters are up for it, have a passion and loyalty to their music and to the dj's that play it. Now that deserves respect in itself.

What you have to appreciate is that people�s lack of respect or disdain for majik etc doesn�t come from the fact that it happens to be a successful and pumping night, most peoples lack of appreciation comes from a dislike of the egotistical attitude of the clubbers who regularly attend these nights and the 'macho' mentality it has brought to the greater trance scene in general.
There is a stigma attached to such nights for a reason, not because of its popularity or success, or even for its music genre... it�s simply because of the 'general' (i appreciate there are exceptions) attitude of its clubbers.

I am sure that everyone is onto something bigger and better, but "at the end of the day" even though money is an indication of success, im sure a lot of people would agree with me when I say that a safe, positive and fun vibe is not something that can be measured on a monteary scale and these are the things that will lead to greater longevity (the 'real' measure of success).
