very nice, both CDs.. not sure which one i prefer more.. desyn doesnt disappoint.

on a side note i was blasting song 3 of disc 2, Rozzo - Blue (Reloaded) extremely loud while speeding in my car.. and when those sirens came on my heart dropped and i almost shit my pants, i thought i was getting pulled over... then i came to the realization that it wasnt a copcar but just the CD lol

Just heard a preview of disc one and it surpassed my expectations. Plenty of that uplifting housey funk that Desyn is famous for with smooth mixing all the way through. Can't wait to hear part 2!

Posted by The_One on Sep-19-2005 05:55:

I love both CDs they are fkn great. Desyn did a great job on both discs. The Balance series never dissapoints.

Posted by CleverName on Sep-19-2005 15:14:

After careful analysis, I've come to the conclusion that CD2 is far better than part 1...but part 1 is good too

*listens for the tenth time in a row*

There's not a single low point in either disc. This is great stuff, I'll be playing this for a long time.

Piano Tool ...

wow, def. one of the albums of 2005 so far! after the first listen i like it even better than fundacion and gu28!

great job desyn!!!

Oh, and Halcyon is golden. It fits in perfectly with everything else, and doesn't make it sound dated at all. (Everyone who recognizes it will of course know the age of the song, but the sound itself is consistant and modern.)

Holy sheeeeit. This is magic

i'd choose to use the adjective "stupendous" because there might be little kids around.

Anyone else notice vinyl clicks in the opening seconds of Disc 1?

Not that I'd accuse Desyn, but it's nice to hear for ourselves that this hasn't been ProTool'ed or Ableton'ed

I'm sure it has been. I don't care what platform this was mixed on, though, it's just that good.
