That was a great interview.

Much respect to oakey.

Depite the fact that he released "the club", he will always have all my respect.

He is Paul Oakenfold. Some people forget about that.

Good interview.

Do you really think that?
For real?
What about all those great classic mixes/CDs/live sets he has done?

I know nowadays he's not half the DJ he was, but to say that he can barely operate turntables...

hahaha, yeah, true.

Good interview, but he needs to put a paper bag over his head.

I saw him play a couple of weeks back and I'm was suprised how aged he looked - all that partying is finally catching up with him i think!!!

I'm actually gonna see him in a few hours... should be a blast! I'll let you know if he can still operate a turntable.

And although "The Club" is not as good a compilation as any of his other "Perfecto Presents..." compilations, it still had some pretty darn good songs... even some old ones that were never released! Still loving that Jan Johnston song "Delirium" and the Deadly Avenger song "Artisan".

How old is Oakey now anyway?

I thought he was good up till the end of 2002; his Creamfields Essential Mix was good stuff.

Cool stuff! :-)

Courtyard days sounds like a cracking idea! I hope that they put as much in as they can!

plus juan.

Why doesn't anyone ever ask oakenfold "wtf did you do to your hair?" in these types of interviews?

Say what you will, but the guy has done a lot. I had the chance to interview him this weekend, and we spent most of time talking about his other projects like his involvement in films and whatnot. Look at his remix of U2's Even better than the real thing...that remix did better on the UK charts than the original (hence he opened on the Zoo TV tour) His skillz may be lacking a bit, but lets face it, dood's got a lot goin on!
