someone that bothers to ask me how my day is
someone that surprises me constantly (and not with physical things)
someone that understands i make mistakes
someone that realizes i'm protective of my heart
someone that loves music as much as i do

someone that goes out of their way for me

The blacker the berry the sweeter the juice? Does that work here. The wrinklier the berry.. Find a mature fruit! Sweet, sweet juice. hahaaah.

well i'd agree with you, but i have my immaturities. i know you probably have a good idea of my type hahaha...and you're right that usually probably translate into a little bit older women i dunno...but really what are they gonna see in a 22 yr old? the fact that i'm still in school really pisses me off...i feel like everything is on hold until i graduate...

if it seems to wear off pretty quickly it usually just means that the connection isn't as strong as it needs to be to keep things going. from what i've read in your posts here on TA (and this is just me assuming), you seem to go about dating in a pretty "normal" way... meet a cute girl, ask her out on a few dates, do things the way we were all taught in magazines. maybe you should do things differently in your next relationship? maybe don't even look for a relationship, since that's how i seem to find the best relationships in my life. i mean keep meeting girls, but don't do all the "normal" things that guys do to get a girlfriend... be spontaneous, be yourself, don't hold back, and if the connection is strong enough from both sides... BAM! you'll be looking around wondering "whoa where the fuck did this come from?!"

this is all just coming from personal experience. the things that work for me probably don't work for most people...

Yes Jason, listen to Myra... Go about things in the most fucked up fashion possible & it'll end up better than you ever imagined....

Then again, maybe that just works for some of us....

i actually don't usually look for girls...they usually find me and that's how things start. i guess i just always seem to feel like the connection i feel is really strong, but then the girl gets over it and well...bla.

i guess i just want to be on the other side of that. maybe i'm bad at keeping girls interested in me...so how do i fix that? i could be boring maybe i dunno hahaha...

what keeps you girls intereseted in the guys that you see...and what causes you to kinda forget about those initial crazy excited feelings...

i'd say i'm usually concious of those kinda things, but it ends up not being enough...same question to you jenn...how do guys keep you interested in them without, as you mentioned, going too far out of the way for you if you know what i mean...

not that i have the most luck with girls but in terms of keeping them interested it depends alot on the girl, there are girls that find it fun to just hang out with you and watch tv, and than there are girls where you should just do the craziest things you can to keep them excited and interested. every person is different and there is no recipe to keeping a girl. so you can either be yourself and find a girl that really fits your personality, or you can look at her personality and go out of your way to do things that interest her and everything.

I don't discriminate, although I've dated a lot of latin women, so I obviously like brown eyes. Brown eyed girls seem attracted to light eyed men, in many cases. Opposites attract thing, I think.

They can TRAIN you, Biotch!!

hahaa. jk?

So whats wrong with everything being on hold until you graduate? Yeah right. Sorry. That's the controlling, workaholic coming out in me. Your right. You can't set things such as happiness off like that in your own little proprosed time bracket. I don't know personally about the age. I'm only 20.

Would 24ish woman feel it a downfall to date a 22 year old guy?

Posted by Estella on Sep-08-2005 22:29:

Oh yes. Light, light green!

hehehe...well i just feel at this awkward stage where everyone i know and am friends with is graduated and have jobs and shit...and i'm still in school and have homework...it sucks :/

and no i don't think women that age would have trouble dating me...hell all the girls that i've dated are around that much older...but now they'd be women that are starting life while i'm still in school and it just kinda seems like a block ya know?

i hope this thread doesn't sound too whinny hehehe as i'm sure i can sound . see i guess i already kind of see myself as choosing to take time for myself and stuff until i'm done with school bla bla...but i just want to be ready for a relationship next time comes my way. i mean, i just really want to sweep 'em off their feet hehehe...god that's corny

my green eyes > any brown eyes lol I keed.

but girls want guys who are intelligent and can hold good conversations. Also guys who believe in equality.

Posted by djeternal on Sep-08-2005 23:03:

This is a simple list of what i think Women want in a guy.

Honesty
Empathy
Communication
Humor
Romanticism

Now what they fall for is a whole different story: (why do they pick the idiots over the faithfull friend anyday of the week?)

There are all kinds of variations but it all leads to confusion and excitement. Seduction can be easy or insanely difficult pending on the victim type. Keep them guessing, excited and they are eating out of ur hand. Often what women say they want in a man is the opposite of the emotions they repress. Bring these out and play the air of mystery right....and ur golden. Casanova was a cheater, liar etc...so why did women fall for him? Cuz he picked the right victim and made them think he would dedicate his entire being to pleasing them. He had a keen sense on what a women desired. He brought that out by playing the right character and it was affair after affair....then poof...he dissappear in an instant. This kinda stuff works on a massive level as well...(I.E Politicians who appeal to ur prejudice to get ur vote. JFK appealed to the youth...then the assasination made him a martyr. Seducing the masses isnt much different than seducing a women/men. This whole paragraph is a 2 way street ladies.)
