I just lost my cell phone and I got the V635i...I really like it. The girl at Roger's told me they're pretty much the same quality. But actually the one I got was a bit better...it just wasn't as thin as the RAZR. They're both amazing phones though I guess.

Thanks Lisa... I'm still undecided that's for sure, I need to wait for an answer from my friend whether I WILL get the RAZR...

^^^ Awesome...well good luck. I'm sure you'll be happy with either one! They're both supposed to be really great. Which ever one you get, you're always gonna be thinking...should I have gotten the other one? Haha...I know that happens to me all the time!

there are sooo many nice phones to choose from now..

it sometimes makes me wish I wasn't so addicted to having my blackberry that I could just change and go back to something like these and have a lot cheaper service than what I pay now

my blackberry was about $399 and it is a cell phone, internet, email, SMS all in one.. you can surf the net but very limited.. not all sites will work on it.. it is compatible with Microsoft office and such for meetings, notes, memos or whatever.. it is really neat actually.. but it is really expensive per month..

the one great thing about this is that it works in Europe which was great for me the last 2 summers! I need something that is going to work overseas and it wasn't too expensive either to use over there.

No NA provider has it yet.

as far as phones go for me... if this guy is willing to ship to Canada (emailed him already) this is the one I want to get

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...mMakeTrack=true

Can only get this in Europe but it is unlocked so it will work here and it is super cheap

Good luck...I guess it's actually better...atleast for me. If I had a blackberry and could access TA anywhere I'd get into so many accidents simple walking down the street!

I just got the v620 from ebay (it's a step up from the v600 which you've probably seen). I really like this phone. I have been making videos with sound like crazy, and it's hilarious sending them to people !! I dont like the RAZR's shape, and the V635i isnt very appealling to me.

i've had my RAZR for over half a year (silver one) and i'm pretty damn happy with it

I just bought a imate jam from www.impactwireless.ca. Great guy Chris, he's the guy that did my order, hooked me up pretty good.

Not sure if you're into that sorta thing, but it's the smallest PDA/Phone out there, integrates several devices for me. Since it can play mp3s, videos, as well as sync with Outlook for contacts, calendar, etc, it's been a real timesaver in moving all my phone numbers over, as well as having a backup. The PDA is a full pocketpc version, and it's smaller than an iPod. I got the WiFi card, so I can get internet through a regular wireless connection, or pay an arm and a leg through Rogers' data plans. It can render almost any web page, since it's got almost a full IE browser. (I think activeX isn't enabled)

Subway rides are great, as I can either listen to music or watch a downloaded vid, all from one compact device. I was really looking for something so that I wouldn't have to carry around a pda, and a phone, and a music player, etc, etc. It's a little bit more than your current price range, but I thought it was worth it. 1GB SD cards are cheap now, and 2 GB have just been released, and 4 GB are on the horizon, so it's not too bad to get a lot of storage for the device, if you're one of those ppl that like to carry around a lot of music with them.

The only downside to this phone is that it doesn't have that typical designed sexiness you can get from some phones, and it is a little bulky to bring to a club. Since I'm GSM and sim carded, I'm honestly seriously considering getting a backup/secondary phone to bring with me when I go out to clubs and what not. Something smaller and less expensive....

The k750i and the w800 are pretty much the same internals, and take the best photos of all camera phones, imho, and are great buys. The quality of the photos is good enough that you might never need to worry about taking a camera with you as well, but only if a lack of optical zoom doesn't bother you. Personally, from a design standpoint, the RAZR is a great phone, but functionally it's a little lacking considering the comparables in the same price range.

If you're a real cameraphone person, you'd be interested in the samsung 3,5, and 7 megapixel phones, but sadly they aren't compatible with our networks here, but it's nice to know that full featured camera phones are out there and will eventually make it our way.

Milos: The k750 is out now and goes for approx 500-600CAD and can be
found either at the phone kiosk at the Eaton Centre or at any cellphone store in Pacific Mall

RJ: It's true that no NA supplier has the k750 out as "their brand" but that doesn't mean that you can't use the phone. The beautiful thing with these overseas phones is that they all are SIM card compatible so if you're with Rogers or Fido you can still use your old SIM card and slip it into one of these phones and it'll work just fine. When your're with Rogers/Fido you aren't actually paying for the phone you're paying for the SIM card. The majority of these type of phones are quadband and does support the 850.
