trance - laid back "dreamy" id call it form of techno.

the important thing is this.
any song can have house parts, trancy parts, beat parts.
usually no one song can be descibed under one genre.

thats the dumbest shit ive ever heard.
when my friends get in my car and i got shit playing they joke "dude im in a trance man."

LOL, ha ha, well, maybe the title isn't correct then. Anyways, if the musics really good it should put you in a trance anyways, regardless of what genre you want to title it.

And, If someone wasn't put in a trance somewhere way back when, they wouldn't of given this music such a name. The trance back then was for the most part more hypnotic though than most of todays popular stuff. Trance, drum rhythms and dancing goes back even further. Techno is based off of drum rhythms too. If you look back far enough in history you'll see that trance and techno is the same thing to certain extents.

Remember it all came from House way way back when and was essentially the same music when it turned into acid and new beat then hardcore and so on.

I would say that listening to Trance is like having sex... starts touching your bases, then gets inside of you and grows taking you thru up and downs, all the way up until you explode and bring you in peace all the way down and then starts all over again... so maybe trance is a form of sex?

trance is the best thing that happened to me .
it's the only way to relief from stresses of life.

Or maybe it's just a bunch of noises that happen to make sense?

Sounds to me if you never tasted the deep catching of Progressive Music. Let's go the defination. "Progressive" in that threat is meant like evoluting sound. Somehow find a way to create a difference to those emotions we already had in the past to hardtrance ot monotone techno-beats.

Coming forward is the matter. If you're interessted in another style of trance invented in the beginning of the 90's and definated as a mix of psychedelic india sounds with the straight northern beats of spirit. Called Psytrance. Click the link below to enter www.el-audio.de and prelisten to the tunes I talk about.

Love & light,
Chris

No one can explain it for you, just listen to it for a while... take it in and you'll eventually get it or you wont

Posted by Googooly on Sep-16-2005 11:06:

here is how house music is like:

"doomchika pa pa, doomchika pa pa, doopchito goopchito...(return to first beat)" say that Loud but slowly and you got yourself a nicely house music.

I'll do the rest later.
