If you cancel the post count than it will just be boring....because some of us like to look back and wonder how we got so far.

The only thing that keeps you from being bored on TA is knowing how many posts you have??

don't remove pc, because it shows simply as it is how active you are on the board. I don't see people show off with that, so no need to remove it. it also keep you posting on the board, what is good. I think only few members spam, the rest just gives their opinion on the topic.

btw. trance.nu has removed pc some time ago and its strange to see a board without pc, don't know why, its just unfamiliar.

NO to the postcount!!

All it does is give a false impression on other users, there are way to many post whores on this site and at the end of the day it counts for nothing except wasted server space. People compete to get the highest post score.....fuck that.

I personally have been a member here for over a year now and I have a modest 125 posts or less, does that mean that I am inferior? or that I know nothing about trance?......maybe a 14 year old kid joins this site and is a complete postwhore talking about shit and rounds up 708 posts...is he the king of trance or whatever the subject? NO !! it just proves that he/she has an opinion.

I only open my mouth when I know what I am talking about....some people just talk shit to up their post score.

Do the Math.

It took me 4yrs to reach 500 posts..and that's that I rarely used the net for about 3 of those yrs because I didn't have access. I am also opposed to all the POST WHORES, the majority of them being n00bs in the first place.

But now that I finally got my custom status... I kinda like it . Maybe u can change it so that the longer u're on TA.. the more options u have?

thoughts ?

can you show 3 links to thread where someone said to someone else "i have more posts"? i have not seen that EVER.

Why not make post counts hidden (seen only by admin/mods) and change the 6 months to custom as well to a year??
