Two venues are possible in one night.

whatever the djs,the bell center will be packed!

20 000 people for a rave at Bell Centre?

There was barely 5000 people last year.
Cream was 5500 people.

Celebration was 3500 people in 2003.

I predict a maximum of 4000 people this year (I hope not for them).

Ya, considering I pulled that number straight out of my ass, I was waiting to be corrected...

If your statement that there were 2200 at the CEPSUM for Tiesto was correct (which I'm sure it is), then I'd say 4000 people is enough for a killer ass party. Maybe not from a profit standpoint, I really don't know...But from the partier's point of view, I'd be verrry happy to see double the crowd from Tiesto at the Bell Center.

Oakenfold's time was in 99'. Now he barely even tries to mix. That's what happens when you combine money and coke. You just don't care anymore. Bring on Danny & Sharam

black and blue rulesssss

BO18 were did u get the info about celebration

Posted by Marcus007 on Sep-21-2005 22:26:

If the line-up for Celebration is nothing more than Cokenfold and some second-tier DJ (I'm not referring to Eddy Jasmin - he rocks) than I think I'm going to be brining my party to ARIA.

Posted by Biggy on Sep-21-2005 23:47:

4000 people in Bell Centre is not looking good.

For tisto, 2200 people paid but we had 300 more who didn't pay.

So only 1500 more than at CEPSUM for Tisto in the Bell centre will look really bad. Tisto set-up was way smaller than the ice at Bell Centre.

Posted by nchs09 on Sep-22-2005 00:15:

last year there were like 8000 werent there?

Posted by Biggy on Sep-22-2005 01:46:

I produced the party last year and we got barely 5000 people at Celebration. 8000, it's even not legal for the rave formula at Bell Centre.

Was it that much smaller? I look at the videos I have of that night off Globalsound, and it looks like it was massive. With 2500, was most of the ice surface not covered in people? It looks like it in the videos...And correct me if I'm wrong, but the setup at the Bell Center can't be double the size of the one at Tiesto.

It seems to me, with 1500 more people than that night, you'll have a full dancefloor at Celebration...No?

Posted by Biggy on Sep-22-2005 02:58:

Trust me, 4000 people at Bell Centre is a complete disaster.

For the people who attended Swirl at Bell Centre will understand what I mean. It's very cold in Bell Centre and the ice surface will not be packed. Tisto at CEPSUM was good but just in front of the stage, the rest of the ice was far to be pack. The seats were empty as well.

Even the VIP at Celebration last year was not pack and the seats were almost empty as well. So imagine with 1500 people less?

Yeah, you're right...I wish you were wrong though! I really want Celebration to be a huge, succesful party...

It's a shame that things like Tiesto at CEPSUM and Swirl this year weren't profitable for you, because they were fuckin amazing parties imo...

It's starting to seem like the big parties are just dying out in Montreal, which blows...I think you guys should just start producing your own huge parties at venues like the CEPSUM and other random places in mtl. Aria could put everyone else out of commission, own the scene. With the booking power you guys seem to have, you could for sure throw some succesful massives no?

Posted by antz66 on Sep-22-2005 04:11:

if they put out a strong lineup like oakenfold and maybe 2 or 3 other headliners plus good montreal locals then its gonna be packed for sure, celebration 2003 had all montreal djs plus max graham and it was packed

I'm sure Jean Fred doesnt wanna loose any more money. Two parties in a row werent profitable, so why should he organize another one (think from his side and not yours). Just imagine the cost that must go into booking the venue, the djs, and all the work that goes into the organization, and then ending up not making any profit. Aria was on the team for the past year, theyve contributed massively and lost from it, why should they continue??
Im in the same boat tho, i love those big parties especially at the bell center. If they die, it would suck!!!

Posted by Hi_NRG_Prod. on Sep-22-2005 05:06:

Well JFL losses all kinds of money with Aria anyways, i think he dose it more for the fun and glamour of it than the profit.
The main reason why Aria will no be part of celebration this year i guess is that most members of the Circus Team are going to be part of it and we are 2 rival clubs.
Celebration should be a successfull event due to the fact that there was no cream and alot of people are just dying to go to a rave.

Posted by Biggy on Sep-22-2005 06:07:

We didn't want to be part of these parties that are loosing money and very risky (this is the real reason and there is nothing in relation with Circus).

Well, it seems that you know more than me about the numbers of my club!!

My prediction??? 4000 people!

Posted by ohyeah again on Sep-22-2005 13:08:

oh no biggy did a prediction of his competition!

who care biggy, take care of your club and let live the other event. Just because cream didnt happen,it's gonna be packed, its not black n blue will receive all these people, cuz they love 514 parties and not that kind of party. You have your own party with big names fine, but keep your good words for your events, its so no professional.Even if you bring numbers of peeps who came to your party and some without succes, maybe at celebration will receive 8000 you don't know. Maybe when you brought tiesto last time with very few persons, thats maybe because of the place cuz cepsum it sucks cuz its a commercial center and the real fans of tiesto wants to hear him in a party or afterhours, not at 3ham. Swirl was a desaster cuz you brought hip hip in it ,you think theses people go into big partys like that to listen hip hop at that price? nooo! If swirl was only techno and house ,it could be better, people don't want to mix themself with hip hop pimps and little girls with big attitudes. anyways, all that to tell you, take care of your events, even with you statistic, tons of people will be at celebration whatever the djs and your party will be good and packed too,so use your own thread and let people involved do there job or people interessed to 514 ,beeing happy. My 2 cents
