"I cry... tears... of sorrow."
I spent over $20 on POD 2 and now im crying, on the inside, what a disapointment. I went to the promo-concert in nyc thought maybe the album would have the same feel as the ending of the set (with that song with the video-game backdrop). but no. PvD, what can I say; You got me into trance, and now your breaking my heart, like mettalica since the mid '90s. maybe he'll stick to reflecting...
GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!
"ZEL McCARTHY: Do you have a plan for your next record already?
PAUL van DYK: Yes. I have a lot of ideas and in November I'm going to go deeper into the whole producing process and then the album will hopefully be ready before the summer and coming out after the summer.
Z: An artist album?
P: Absolutely!" http://www.groovetickets.com/bz_art_new.asp?DID=983
Well I dont care wut anyone says. I love this mix and i just got this cd today. It sux that everyone is bashing on it including pvdplanet, well screw them
POD 1-Insane
POD 2-GOOD
I kinda wish pvd was more concentrated on his producing then into his pocket
POD 2 Tracklist
ill just pay the shit and decide for myself.
i dont ever listen to u newbs about shit on here anyway.
that and wang chung.
Anyway who gives a stuff about what people say about it on here. I like it so thats good enough for me. And the fact it didnt cost me a penny as I got a promo copy makes it even better.
PVD PO2
I enjoyed PVD's POD 2. I really liked his Maximal set and POD2 has a lot of the same tracks. POD2 of course has the better sound quality than Maximal, so I'm pleased with the mix.
eventually if you go party often and listen to all the new stuff that comes out you tend to get sick of it... or if your the first to listen to this track and that track first eventually you get sick of them. I in the other hand like POD2 and dont think its shit.. yes Iv heard better from him but this isnt a live set nor its ment to be. I believe in his interview he said he wanted to use the music that is out now and some reworked from him. So this was expected of him to use these songs for me at least.. so my 12 dollars was well worth spent!
I LOKE IT< ALOT!
and THATS THE BOTTOM LINE!
z0mg, pvd is crapzzz0r.
I'm getting real annoyed atht his T/AvB/PvD bashing. People on here think it's cool to slag it off.
By all means, criticise it CONSTRUCTIVELY, but just don't go with the the flow like a lot of mindless twats on here.
I liked it.

| Originally posted by Cobalt I've heard him say similar before, including before Reflections, and it never materialized. Putting out an album of tracks harder and more driving than Out There mashed with Avenue would be smart and creative, but it won't sell, and sadly that's on Paul's mind these days, so far as I can tell. |
I listened to the album, hoped for CD2 to be better than CD1, but it wasn't. So I deleted the mp3 and didn't buy the album.
*plays some livesets*
why are you guys so surprised that tpod 2 sucks?
listen to what's out there in the trance genre, IT'S ALL JUNK.
It's AN IMPOSSIBILITY for PVD to make an good mix CD, A IMPOSSIBILITY.
get out of your rut and finally start listening with your own ears for once.
seriously, I think even a deaf person could have told you this without even listening to it.
