PS. It was founded over 3000 yrs ago

Another example of how beautiful Croatia is.
In the coastal region called DALMATIA
Is that water clean enough?

Ahahaha I'm the Heintz57 here

Yippers the tossed salad of the bunch here

Father: Family from Madrid...they migrated to Peru
Mother: Half German and Chinese
They married and Birthed me in: Lima, Peru
Raised in: NEW YORK CITY >>>>Queen's Astoria Baby!
....just 4 blocks from LL Cool J childhood home (grandma's)
Lived in NYC till I was 11 & every summer till I was 17
Became a CANADIAN: From the time I was 12 on.

PROUD TO CALL MYSELF A CANADIAN!!! A happy Assimilated Canadian

Peru is best known for the Amazon, Andes, Machu Picchu and Nasca. BTW Nasca Aerial lines which depicts animals and insects (can only be seen from the sky) has raised the speculation that visitors from another planet either created or directed the project.

Newayz...here are the pics of Peru's pre Inca and Inca Empire Landmark:

Nasca:

Machu Pichu:

History Lesson: Peru apparently introduced most of the foods we love. Like the Potato (I'm told they have about 400 different varieties there), Tomatoe, corn. It was the richest country in South American until Francisco Pizzaro of Spain conquered and enslaved the people. Peru is rich in copper, silver, lead, zinc, oil and gold. It is currently being depleted and environmentally trashed by private American and Canadian Corporation i.e. Noranda Inc. Teck Corp, Gold Corp.

I would post up pics of China and Germany because they have some great culture too but I'll leave that for the next TA.

Cheers Everyone

Apparently my grandfather on my dad's side has some land in some mountain region and the hopes is to turn it into a hotel some day.
Well whenever that is finalized for sure...you can count on it being open to all TA's for a visit. Certainly would be a wicked place to threw a massive party with no worries about the sound disturbing our neighbours hehehehehehe

MESSAGE TO JAYX:

Like b4k-oz, I was born in Peru but raised there (mostly) as well.

I was born in the constitutional province of Callao. Callao is located just west of Lima and it is one of the most important ports of South America.

Home of the best ceviche in the world..

I also lived in Ica shortly before moving to Canada. Ica is a small city located about 300km south of Lima and is surrounded mostly by dunes which are part of a desert that expands from the Andes to the Pacific Ocean.

International sandboarding tournaments are held in Ica.

Ica is famous for the Nazca lines described by b4k-oz as well as La Huacachina, an oasis in the middle of the desert which is said to have medicinal waters.

Pisco, Ica is also famous for being the birth place of Pisco. A strong but amazing grape based drink. It will get you f'ed up without a hangover!
