Ok gang, just got back from meeting with the boys, set times are finalised (will post up a full listing tomorrow) but, if you haven't already, DO plan to make this your pre-GK afternoon warmup party, as it'll be Benonymyst and myself (and Marsh if we can coax him out of the office early ) with smooth and groovy house, chunky breaks and melodic progressive through the afternoon - come for a late-lunch pre-mong BBQ in the warehouse or in the sun out back, and enjoy. (Think Poker Flat, Bedrock, Weekend World, Azuli, Hope and SAW all the way through to Electronic Elements, Anjunabeats, or Four:Twenty.)

*very* much looking forward to playing a house-y set.

Posted by Anomyst on Oct-03-2005 22:43:

mmmm definatly!!

There will be totum-tennis and a tonne of other fun things!! And looking forward to dropping some chunky house and breaks through the arvo, think BT/Hybrid/Cass & Slide/Nu-Breed/Dave Seaman and more...

going to be such a nice warmup to an incredible night!!

Gerry, i will make a big batch of steak marinade for us!!

Had an awesome time, had heaps of fun, thanks all you guys and girls for coming out (esp mr strangalarous who came and chilled for a few hours despite having a superstar DJ gig the same night - nice one steve! )

watching jeremy k mix all i have to say is uberWTF that boy's got it going on.

weird that all his records are keyed, too, hmm

Posted by tachyon on Oct-10-2005 10:42:

keymixing evangelist hard at work i see

Posted by Anomyst on Oct-12-2005 02:19:

key mixing is for professors and people who dont relly know what they are doing.

Oh how you love to stir

Posted by Aesthetic on Oct-12-2005 02:39:

yeah, keymixing is so important on tunes that have 1 minute long drum track intros with no bassline

haha. begic on the money once again

Posted by Anomyst on Oct-12-2005 03:35:

Use your ears, The best keying device there is.

Begic, Drum intro's own!!

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Oct-12-2005 03:42:

^^ haha. theres no way im gonna mix every new tune with all my other tunes to see if they work together. keying tunes cuts down the guesswork

dunno about you, but i like to know where my tune is sitting on the key-range when its pitched up 5% or more

but yeah, ill be honest and admit i do it coz it makes everything easier (as well as sounding better )

Posted by Anomyst on Oct-12-2005 03:45:

I Agree in a way, but at the moment i cant even sort my records, let alone key them.

eye heart guess work.
