first one to mention 'blue fear' will get a prize!

i still play Greece 2000 it is an awesome track. every time i listen to Trancesport it reminds me what trance is all about. in my opinion it is one of, if not the best trance compilations of all time.

dunno, it was a long time ago - maybe compupupupuPUpuPUpu, computer games when i was like 5 or something lol. but yeah always liked the sound of electronic instruments more than traditional ones since hearing that sorta stuff in my old mans garage when i was a kid.
Insomnia - Faithless
PVD - For An Angel
be liquid - melt

I'd have to say it was Robert Miles - Children too. That was the first EDM track i liked, however the track that made me explore EDM was Madonna - What It Feels Like (For a Girl) (Above & Beyond 12" Club Mix) ... Awesome track.
AC -x0x-
somewhere in the late 70's perhaps with:
Dr. Who Theme - was what got me into the space sounds when I was 6 or 7 (so ahead of its time)
Giorgio Moroder stuff (I feel love - Donna Summer, The Chase - Theme from Midnight Express)
mid 80's...
new wave favs
New Order - Blue Monday
Yazz - Situation
Depeche Mode - Just Can't Get Enough
my first house/acid house records on DMC
FRANKIE KNUCKLES - TEARS
MAURICE - THIS IS ACID
FINGERS INC - CAN YOU FEEL IT
ADONIS - NO WAY BACK
DERRIK MAY - STRINGS OF LIFE
GUY CALLED GERALD - VOODOO RAY
First techno tracks -
Joey beltram - Energy Flash
LFO - LFO
EON - The Spice
Nightmares on Wax - Dextrous
First trance tracks
Age of Love - Age of Love
Jam and Spoon - Stella
Sven Vath - An accident in Paradise
Hardfloor - Acperience
Union Jack - 2 Full Moons and a Trout
Paragliders - Paragliders
so when you ask which song turned me onto EDM....it is so hard to say - I guess it depends on the context and time that things compelled me to listen.........variety is teh spice of life!!!

children and synaesthesia!!!
omg those were the days
push - universal nation
the opening track to tiesto @ innercity (98 or 99 i cant remember)
it all started with that happy hardcore crap back in '98
then in 99 my brother in law gave me a CD titled Trance Nation South Africa which had all the trance classics on it - i was so hooked
hehe, was talking with a mate about the first single or album we ever owned. Mine was (and this was probably the first EDM song that got me hooked/starting listening) was
The KLF - Last Train to Trancentral.
I had it on cassingle when it was first released. Wish I knew where that cassette was..................
Only just got in to it but I really love Sandstorm by Darude.

no way dude! us cheesy-loving trancers have gotta stick together!
do not...do not underestimate, the powers of tachyon, or suffer sezzy's fate you will. an edm's strength flows from the trance, but beware...house, breaks, techno, the darkside are they. once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.

will i ever get sick of quoting SW? i really dont think so.
