i am aware what i have just written is probablly the cheesiest thing to ever grace these forums, but believe me it is EXACTLY how i feel, and my review
oh ya, remy was pretty cool too, i felt bad how everyone was screaming for armin in the middle of his set, thats gotta suck, but then again its not like he doesn't know who hes up against.

yea armin is real cool and friendly in my opinion.

By the way... what the heck was with the bradley rose guestlist not working? I was told it was a special event and there was no guestlist.....

Hell yea that guys friends are losers and how can You Not Wait on line for ARMIN Van fuckin BUuren even if its a long ass line - If I only had a offical iD for 18 that I would be able to get in with Last Night I would of been waiting on that line cause till I got in and it would of been Really Worth it from what I hear on this Thread and from some of my friends that went btw Nice to see that every one had a blast and thanks for the Tracklist !

Posted by Yan on Oct-01-2005 16:29:

My group and I arrived there at around 11:45. The wait to get in was 2 hours. Unfortunately, we were only able to hear 2 or 3 songs of Remy's. That was the reason I went that night. But yeah... Those tunes were nuts! Anyways, Armin dropped some pretty solid beats for the first hour and a half. By that time, my girl was able to get what she came for (his sig on Shivers and a Club flyer) so we all decided to leave. We (mainly I) were pretty damn tired and I was still a bit ill from my surprise-cold earlier in the week. Ah well... That was the night! Pics will come up later.

By the way, was great bumping into you Mike, Sveta, Gabe, and Taylor. (I have a feeling I'm forgetting someone! So sorry. Let me know if you saw me!)

was it the guy who is standing at the ropes who told you this ? and
did you go past the ropes to the girls standing by all the TV's and told them about the bradleyrose guestlist?

Yea, the thing is I was with 3 girls and 2 other guys that wanted to experience the 'clubs in nyc'. all of them are from binghampton so they are kind of new to the place.

And one thing that sucks is I dont have a good friend that wants to go clubbing with me and stay up all night\, most of them arent hyped for it, and others want to leave @ like 2-3am if they go in @ 11pm. Which sucks.

Posted by DOOMBOT on Oct-01-2005 16:45:

i told the people at the ticket booth window. right before you get to the guy you hand your ticket to to get in. and man, why dont they let you keep a stub or something.

Posted by sTarSplaSh on Oct-01-2005 16:46:

P.S. If you were on the bradleyrose guestlist, did you still have to wait on the line or you got some other fast-pass line type thingy?

Posted by sot on Oct-01-2005 16:52:

u had to wait on same line as every1 else

also to get the reduced ticks u had to beg for em..was quite annoying lol. overall, good night. remy rippppped it up..highlight of his set: finor - dilemma (dj remy rmx).i loveeeeeeeee that ch000n. armin went on and started of with innocent thoughts then started to bang it out with some nyce ch00ns

i think that old 1999 tune u guys are talking about is three drives ona vinyl - greece 2000..he dropped some rmeix of that..was pretty sick.and that remix of donna summer. one thing i hated was it was wayyyyyyyyy to packed..people pushing and shoving there way through one girl burned a fuckin cigerate on me..dumb bitch lol.

but ya nice seeing every1..definitely had a good night regardless

right when you get passed the ropes, the guestlist girls were at the table near the TVs with the sign on top of them "DUE TO SPECIAL EVENT NO COMPS WILL BE HONORED".... the ticket booth people were probably told to tell people who asked for the guestlist THERE to say "its not running tonight" so theyd get more money, considering some1 wouldnt be like "oh, lemme go wait on line again so i can pay 10$ less".... so, basically, if u got searched by the bouncers without getting ur guestlist ticket, you already went too far

thats not where you get the guestlist , its before u even get in to the windows , there are like 3 girls usually standing by the TV's which is outside of the club still thats the guestlist booth where you get your reduce tickets and then you bring that reduce ticket to the Ticket window inside the club and buy your tickets.

Posted by DOOMBOT on Oct-01-2005 17:04:

damn... that was 20 bux outta my pocket for that dumb shit.

Posted by Yan on Oct-01-2005 17:09:

My tune of the night: Marco V. - False Light

Massive in a club. That's all I have to say.

my friends and i had no problem walking up to the guestlist girls and getting reduced tickets off the bradley rose guestlist.

the line was ridiculous! never seen it snaking around the block like that.. not even for PVD! my friends were getting fed up with all the people pushing and shoving so we left around 4am, right after Diddy's guest appearance... WTF was that? another annoyance - this crowd of chinese people next to us SQUATTED on the dance floor while this one guy was doing a light show for them, as if there wasn't already NO space to do that!

it was still packed when we left at 4. question for people who stayed longer - around what time did the crowd start thinning out and was there ever enough room to dance?

Posted by Legend on Oct-01-2005 17:17:

Sick night... made my brother and his 2 friends AVB fans.

We closed it out. I enjoyed the set, I will post pix and a better review when my head is back in order.

Holy Shit! I think that was the best club night I've even been to in my life, and I've been to MAAAANY. It couldn't have worked out better. I got there in perfect time, found a parking spot on the street close, and paid some kid $10 to let me and my friend cut in line with him (up front). Remy was fucking great, Armin just BLEW THE ROOF off that place. It was my friend's first time rolling and she had the time of her life. We BOTH got posters and autographs! And I even got to meet Armin and take a picture with him. I swear he is the NICEST guy on earth. I've never seen a DJ so concerned with his fans, the man really cares, that's so awsome. I stayed till the very end. At one point in the night, some kid was holding up a little piece of paper that said Say Hello on it. I ripped off my undershirt and we wrote it on the back in huge letters. He saw it and kind of nodded. I'd never imagine he was going to play it, I always said I'd love to hear that song with the lights coming on at 8:00 in the morning. When he dropped it I was in Heaven. I wish he played Communication. I didn't really see many TA's - only Sveta and DJ Rocket, nice to see you both. Will post pics and vids soon! Just woke up from a 'nap' gotta goto work!
