Look at this pathetic godskitchen lineup. They do two big events per year and theyre always shit.

Godskitchen Dublin (30th October 6pm - 1am)

Armin Van Buuren
Ferry Corsten
Eddie Halliwell
Lisa Lashes
Fergie
Above and Beyond
Robbie Butler

Tickets: Euro 42.50

1) The lineup is atrotious
2) Although its the best youll get due to stupid laws here, the 1am finish is dumb
3) 42.50 is a ripoff for that.

Anyone else think its pretty shit?

Hmmmm.....as mentioned a rather predictable line-up but far from atrocious.

yeah but those 4 djs being on the line up is makes it one of the most predictable line ups ever.
I think what the thread starter is getting at is the fact that its so predictable those djs being on line ups its become so stale and boring now u can almost always guess who the headliners r going to be without looking.
I bet i could tell u the line up now for global gathering 2006

Posted by sthus on Oct-06-2005 11:34:

I dunno if i would go casue fo the 1 a.m. closing time, thats unebeleivably LAMECORE ... asif clsoe at 1 nothing gets done by then ...

But the lineup is fine and if we had them here in aus for that price i'd cream my pants, not once but twice ...

And leave the poor fella alone, if he thinks its a bad line up thats his opinion, just cause hes wrong and has a different and lsightly comical way of thinking doesnt' mean you should berate him, shame on you lot, makin fun of someone cause of his/her beliefs

Godskitchen in millstreet in summer was class i heard... 12 hours and shitloads of djs... I have no money to go to Dublin or I would though... Well worth 40 euro imo, how often are you gonna see anything better in Ireland.

I wanna go to prodigy in November instead. Millstreet again. Should be quality. Theyr playing all their classics

Posted by THE_Chris on Oct-06-2005 18:23:

Thats one thing. The lineup IS predictable. Its been similar to that everytime

Compare that to the Australian Godskitchen

BT, Nick Warren, Gabriel and Dresden, Hybrid and Above and Beyond.

That is so much better. Thats what the Ireland one wont be, but it wont happen ever. Theyre gonna keep bringing the predictable crowd everytime

I was tempted to go to GK Millstreet - its only about an hour drive from me, but I didnt. I didnt have anyone to go with, which tipped it.

Again, I dont agree with the 2am closing. Why does this country have such an issue with allnight events? Everywhere else does it, why not here?

And the main arena was reasonable, but I just cant understand why they insist on bringing Fergie/Lashes in all the time.

And they didnt have any of my 'big 3', which tipped the balance into me not going. No sign of J00f/Nunrg/Hybrid

Posted by slinkyhead on Oct-06-2005 20:33:

i don't see the point of only getting djs to play an hour, surely relatively it costs a more to pay 7 people to do an hour each than 4 djs to do 1hr45 or whatever each.

Any why gods insist on playing fergie is beyond me, he draws in hardly anyone and is a pile of poo, still living on his reputation as TDV prodige.

Posted by THE_Chris on Oct-06-2005 20:44:

True, but that pales in comparison to getting Armin & Lisa Lashes playing on the same night

You haven't been to the US, have you. I live in NYC which goes all night, but try out Boston's closing at 2. Lots of other cities close up early. I think it's mostly an alcohol thing, though.

80% or more people here agree it's a good night, so you can pathetically print this thread and post it on your wall to remind you
of your faulty way of thinking.

haha, gonna meet ya at Armin Only Fresh Prince, at least i'l be there too

NYE in Vegas is looking pretty damn good, too. I couldn't care less about Tiesto in Concert, either, which to everyone complaining about this event's price, is $100 for 6 hours.
