Bhangra Knights - Fascinating Rhythm (Openair Remix)

Can't really single out just one dancefloor exploding tunnage, so here are a few

PPK - Resurection(PPK Space Club Mix)

Ferry Corsten - Digital Punk(Original Mix)

Rank1 - Airwave(Bobina 2005 Remix)

Cheers...

great thread!

when you're looking for harder stuff like CG then I recommend

Signum - The Other Side

that's absolutely bangin and I always got great responses when played at the right time.

some of the best memories are also connected to

Spacekid - Tune!

a little softer but great build-up and climax!

i remember hearin Dark Monks - Insane (Murano Mix) for the first time in a club, the place went nuts!

Signum - Coming On Strong is a bit of a crowd pleaser too.

I guess what you're looking for would be tribal-tech-trance.
Be sure to include a fair amount of tracks from Spinnin' Records in your set (E-Craig/Katana/SVD/Ron Van Den Beuken). Also other energetic labels include Detox/Silicon/Skywarp/Discover

A few recommendations off the top off my head(old + new)

1) Mark Sherry - Vengence [Detox]
2) Love Fist - Don't Give Up On Me [RR]
3) Blank + Jones - A Forest (Ron Van Dan Beuken Mix) [White]
4) E-Craig - Call It A Day [Reset]
5) Clokx - Feelings (Dub Mix) [Liquid]
6) Sander Van Doorn - A.K.A(Sam Mix) [Oxygen]
7) Greg Downey - Shaker [Discover]
8) Dave 202 - Global Trance (Jesselyn Remix) [Silicon]

Some good tracks mentioned.

The Drill - The Drill (Never dropped it as it doesn't match what I play but awesome tune) Not to be confused with the Dirt Devils and the Drill...

Scott Mac Damager 02 - Yup, first time I dropped this track I nearly got mugged on the way off the dance floor with bedroom DJs asking what the fuck that was.

Randy Katana In Silence - Dropped it for sentimental value about 4 months ago and the place went ape shit.

Igor S Boomerang - Seen that track do much damage on the dance floor.

Energy 52 Cafe Del Mar - When this was new, you could drop it several times a night and people would still come and ask for it again.

Ferry Corstens remix of Adagio - Seen grown men cry when they heard that for the first time.

Bizare Inc Playing with Knives - This was way back in the day, but you could drop this and the place would go nuts.

T99 Anastasia - Another oldie that would rock the place.

Just a few from a whole bunch of tracks.

Cheers
Nem

GOOD GOD, I was wondering if anyone was going to list this one off, my all time favorite build ups are in that track, what a ride it provides....

Any relation to the newer BK - PLAYING WITH KNIVES track? Never could truly love that one. Just curious...

Yes... BK's version (well, he did two) was a remix of the Bizarre Inc old skool track

Either Lab 4 - Concept of Love or Weirdo - Photic Zone have gotten the best reception from any set I've played.

Moby - Thousand

I never ever heard that played out, but think I'd have gone ballistic if I had.

Posted by djdawn on Oct-11-2005 17:47:

yeah, "Thousand" is awesome in a club.

heard it a few times back when it was new and then twice at "Retro"-parties in Hamburg.

C.R.A.Z.Y!

Nice one, would love to hear that live. Just saw this was rereleased in April, still in stock at Juno.

For techno, I'd say Oliver Ho - Sculpture B2 would do the trick for me..

For progressive, I'd love to drop Decepticons - Deep underground (Jade's journey through the underworld mix) sometimes. I'd have to get it on 12" first though

Oh yeah

Used to hear that alot in my club when i was younger.

Need to dig that out now & play it again!

Here's a couple:

Vengaboys - Kiss (Airscape Remix)

Some guy came out of nowhere and asked for it back in February. With all the people asking for Sandstorm...I was more than happy to oblige. The room went nuts.

Fred Baker - Total Blackout

Played this back in April to start a set with about 500 in the place for my birthday. With all the lasers and liquid ice going...people were just yelling like fools.
