I always go to the club sober..... unfortunately (or fortunately) I never stay that way.

There is the odd time that I stay sober...those are the nights that I don't plan on staying out all night.

I said the odd time....so what if it has been over a couple years.....that's odd is it not.

there are some venues where 9/10 times i'll end up taking some sort of drug, if i'm at any other club/venue, i will usually have some redbulls before getting to a club and a drink or two inside, unless it's a big/special event

from your posts, you make it sound like we're total crackheads who feast on drugs...maybe some do...i don't know...but for me personally going to a club is a chance to get away from my work/school related stress and just let loose...if you can do it sober all the time, good for you...others may need/want a little assistance...to each his own.

went to see zabiela, without taking drugs and had a killer time

I've been sketchy before, but I'm done with that now. I'll stick to red bull now for an "extra boost."

Sober I can last till 7-8am easy, so I really don't need any more then that.

I have to agree with MaxTO here... you make it seem like I'm a crackmonkey if I do drugs all the time. If the sketchy people bother you.... don't go out, plain and simple because I assure you they aren't going anywhere.

funny how most people in support of government social laws controlling just about everything from toboacco to alcohol are also the ones breaking the law by consumption of illegal substances.

well what about the recruitment process. the first time many ppl have their first drug is at guvernment. because thats the apparent selling point into the scene, is it not?

although this certainly is not news, its just annoying how when i'm dancing on the main floor and i feel that when i look around it takes a great deal of effort to spot someone who hasn't done a shitload of drugs. but honestly, if it works for u then great, keep up the good work!

no its not. all clubs, including ur top 40 clubs have a vast amount of drug users, 50% being soley weed consumers (YES WEED IS A DRUG..BETCHA DO IT RIGHT??)

yes, it IS annoying. but not trying to defend anyone, i think its also annoying to look around and find everyone wasted on booze and falling around and potentially puking all over the place.

dont try to act like ur a saint and all of us on this board are the worst people on this planet cos ur attitude right now is quite a piss off to everyone who consumes any toxin from alcohol to drugs to energy drinks (yea theres caffeine which IS a drug too in those energy drinks)

i don't go to top 40 clubs, so they're not 'mine.' its ok guys, don't be pissed off, its just a stereotype. my club visits will definatley be fewer and far between, i just can't take it, you guys win, enjoy. bye

I agree 100%

After a long week at work I need to blow off steam...for some people it is going to the gym or something like that but for me it is dancing.

For me it's dancing and those awesome beats. By enhancing the experience it allows me to completely forget what is going on in my stressful everyday life and allows me to feel the music and not just enjoy the music.

lol...gotta love ur assumption cos we are playing devil's advocate since u try to put urself on a pedestal that all who posted here are druggies....congrats..ur level of intelligence has once again be proved to be phenomenal

i find a lot of ppl who don't do drugs at clubs find that ppl who do can't go without.. thats usually not the case.. its just a personal peference... living in windsor leaves me certain limitations... we hardly get any EDM events here.. so when i do make it up to T.O. for events i enjoy a good roll now and again..and yeah the first time i tried rolling was at the Guv.. but it was just something that came about... i went up to T.O. to visit my friends going to school there (shanny being one of them) and it just so happened there was an event going on (Oakenfold).. i had never been to the Guv.. had heard about it and my friends wanted to go so i was like "alright lets check it out" and i just loved the expirience...but i would have no problem going without any drugs.. toss a couple of Red Bulls in me to keep me from getting too tired and i could probably close out the night like i would if rolling ...but i don't need it to like the music or the scene.. i listen to trance pretty much all day everyday...and the ppl i've met are amazing (thats right i'm talking about all you TAs!) and its just made my interest in this scene that much stronger...with or without drugs

hmmm...the first place I ever rolled was at Club 54......not the greatest music but the lights are awesome.

In all honesty....I could probably last longer on the dance floor when I am not rolling.
