Hey gmoney,

I agree with you but you are missing some important points.

For example, if it's true that people with some deficiencies can't get laid, then evolution would have weeded out those genes forever out of the gene pool. Yet, we have a lot of males who for example are 5'2", very short. We have a lot of males who are not good-looking. However, their parents had children and the parents before them did, allowing the genes to stay in the pool. Why did evolution allow that?

In other words, we are not all good-looking tall men, yet if one were to blindly follow the evolution argument, we should all be.

Also, don't forget the following issue... When a girl sees a man with another girl, no matter how fat or ugly, she gets competitive. Thus, in order to become successful, the man simply needs to get started with the first woman, which will then bring a stream of successes (other women will automatically be interested). In this way, even an average or below-average man can be reproductively successful.

gmoney serioulsy though smart/beautiful people are not the ones who created the internet/computer/airplane/vaccines/math/science/literature/writing/ thinking/anything having to do with math or science you don't have a sexy person you have an extremely intelligent individual who might not be the most physically attractive person but he is smarter than most "sexy/intelligent" people. However simply because you might not consider him attractive does not mean he is ugly all what a shallow individual like yourself has to do is talk with him. You will get to know him but chances are a smart individual would want nothing to do with you. They only hand out with intellectuals sorry gmoney you are not one of those and never will be. I will now address the last 3 replies above me.

1) I did manage to get myself banned due to my behavior in the NY forum. I have learned my lesson and will not do the same thing again. The sheer annoyance of having to reconfigure my computer to come back from a perma-ban is enough motivation for me.

2) My theory of survival of the fittest( well, its not mine but I have adapted it to my needs) works. I will tell you why. Women want to procreate with the men that are most viable. Good-looking smart men have the best chance of being successful in this world. Of course there are exceptions, like one can develop a drug addiction ,etc.But, if you look at the odds, this will hold true. So while Jethro can procreate with his obese wife in some West Virginian hovel, there children won't do better than any of either of them. However, someone like Brad Pitt will never have sex with this obesity because he has better options(i.e. supermodels)
However, a guy who is 5'2 that is smart and has other attributes may also be successful. So when he drives by in his new Ferrari F430, the women will go for it. The point here is this: People are successful for a reason and people wind up at the bottom for a reason. It doesn't matter what the reason is but there is a reason.
Michael Jordan got cut from his highschool basketball team his freshmen year. But because Jordan had something inside him besides his athletic ability, he became the best basketball player in the world (not to mention a multi-multi millionare.)
Bill Gates dropped out of college. But instead of seving mozzarella sticks at his local Olive Garden, he became the richest man in the world. He also had something inside him that drove him to this goal.
Both Michael Jordan and Bill Gates can have any woman they want because they are "the fittest", they have the resources (i.e. money) that women want. Its the like the whole thing with alpha-male and beta-female theory in animals. So while good-looking smart people have the best chance in life, other people have a chance too (just not as much of one).

i hardly think that a person having one good idea thus means they qualify for the elite \"fittest\" group you keep describing. there are plenty of talented individuals around that put their significant energy & creativity into worthwhile things that have nothing to do with making money. equating wealth-creation with \"fittest\" is thoroughly misleading, as well as painting women as subordinate and essential gold diggers

No ,actually you are wrong. 30 % of the people I know have really good ideas. But 99% of the 30% don't have the balls or the know-how to execute their ideas. If you are to be succesful, you can't just have an idea and sit on your ass and watch TV thinking about your idea, you have to go after it. Even if you "lose your shirt" at they call it, at least when you look back on your life when you are 75, you can say to yourself that you went after your dream.

And most women are gold-diggers:

I think this is nice that the state would pay for this. Heck, I'd much rather see the state paying for this than paying for my PlayStation & FLAC+MP3 album-collecting & ROM/ISO-collecting addiction.

And Gmoney, I think you should learn how to respect your peers. What if you were in this exact situation?

Personally, I'd be a little embarrassed at first, asking the state for funds that would go to this either directly or not, but if I were really handicapped/physically disabled past a certain point and I KNOW that I couldn't sexually attract anyone anymore, as the months & years go by, I would like it to be paid for.

Heck, even right now, I have trouble attracting girls and I don't really know too good about how to get _and hold_ their attention beyond 5 seconds.

Ali I will tell you how to "attract" a girl to you. First lose weight, afterall that time you spend on the internet, you must have grown a bit too much. Than after you lose weight go up to a girl and say "Hey bitch whats up?" The girl at first might act all offended but after a little time goes by she will be back wanting you.

Really all what you have to do is talk with them at first that they get accustomed to having you to talk with and after that play a bit hard to get. That is all.

I wouldn't consider 69 kg way overboard, but my body mass index for my height (167 cm) is 25.04 and that's considered slightly overweight.

So you are only five feet and four inches and 145ibs? If that is right than man you are short little fat guy!

About 5 feet and 7 inches in Imperial/US system. Weight: around 148 pounds (just weighed) in US system.

I guess that translates to a BMI of around 25.1, still.

BTW: What about people who are successful in some cultures but not others? Say, in Europe, but not in America?

Every successful guy I know is good-looking and smart. They are my friends. When we go out, we go to the "cream of the crop" places becasue thats where hot, smart girls go.

Women don't like guys who are quick to get angry

I don't know your friends and I'd have to see them to get more data. But if you can't admit that everyone, and I mean everyone, has some kind of cross to bear, then we don't share the same assumptions about the world, and debate would be kind of difficult.

BTW, "having good genes" does not mean that the entire body is 100% perfect. People still have bad eyes or hearing problems or allergies or diabetes even if they're tall and athletic and symmetric. People have anxiety issues or bad teeth or social problems or breathing difficulties or... the list is endless.

One thing I DO know is that the #1 priority for all women is, and always has been, Honesty. If your friends are good-looking and smart but lie to girls, they will be quickly dismissed by most women as playboys and users, an automatic turnoff.

^^^I thought the number one thing girls look for is security. By security I mean money and if someone has money than that person has security and that is what all girls look for. I am sorry HTP I think you are wrong and Gmoney obviously is wrong as well but he has a clue.

Dude, Gmoney. I go to a school of the best and brightest in the U.S. The girls are terrible, looking that is. I go against what you are saying that hot people are smart. In fact, I have argued the opposite. The smarter the people I am around the less attractive they are. Of course, they also have far better personalities so at least they have that going, which is nice. Also, yes girls want money, but obviously that is a specific girl you are talking about. In fact, these girls' motivations are helpful to you, just as are the shallow men that posses these trophies.

But Gmoney, Im saying that your assesment is completely wrong. I would say most successful people aren't good looking. You say 'Every succesful guy I know is good-looking and smart.' Well at my stage in life (College) if I were to measure success by the caliber of school you attended, then I would say people, guys and girls, are relatively unattractive. Your next statement that I am arguing against is that 'hot, smart girls go to cream of the crop places.' This I hold not to be true, as why do girls go to these places? To find a guy. Now, why would a girl go to a place where there are successful men, because the first on their priority list is money. Now, why would a hot, smart girl have money as their number on priority when finding a guy? Afterall, you argued hot, smart people have the best chance of being successful. Therefore, couldn't they find their own success, and then find a man that they can have a meaningful relationship with?

Hmmm apparentely changing your last name to Walton affords you the best chance of success.

I think all you people arguing with gmoney need to realize that his first proposition was that "fit" people get laid and "unfit" people do not and should not; ala "Survival of the Fittest". Whether or not his definition of "fit" is the same as your definition of "fit" is completely a matter of opinion and utterly worthless to argue over.
