Sorry I know im showing a lot of E-Motion. I'm a bit cranky These Days to be honest coz I can't get my head around this String Theory my teacher is on about. I'll figure it out One Day.....

What course/subjects are you doing to learn about String Theory? Or are you just talking crap.

As Dean said, unfortunately sometimes dates aren't really an option. We to have to fit in between the other bookings made with Room.

It's a real shame as Private Function is one of the few regular nights I'd really enjoying going to ( and its just across the road )

Maybe we can get an Obsession - Private function shuttle bus??

Hmm. This just came to me Out of Nowhere. Having thought about it for 45 Minutes, you know what would be Surreal, if not The Closest Thing To Heaven? An Obsession event in the future with the side room PF-branded. Now that would be one Monster Puppy (once we got over the whole Sleeping with the Enemy thing). I may be On My Own with this one, but Imagine Strangalarous doing his Monkey Business Mojo on the main stage, then strolling to the sideroom, where the Door Reveals a cruisy blend of prog and breaks for those Chilling Moments (or at least a rest for Six Songs or so). These Days there'd be heaps of Trafik between the two rooms, the sounds of PF and Obsession (intelligent and melodic) are certainly Close Enough to one another (you might even say they Belong together), and it would save the Two Billion Year Journey between altitude and room for those of us without Time Unlimited to run between the two venues (or a Skyline to do it in). Anyway, All I Know is that It Scares Me that these two events are on the same night. It would be Good Newz to hear that Dean, Scott and Steve were able to get their 20th Century Ducks in a row on this one. One Day we should ask David about the possibility.

Feel free to Flame - You Won't Bother Me, I'm Over It.

this would also mean we could hold gurnoffs between the ski instructor and the insoupinator.

Cheers mate. I did ok i guess. Funny room to play in at that time of the morning, but i find that you can always tell it's been a good set when the crew of people dancing in front of you start to aerobicize (or however you spell it).

Was good to catch up with you also, being alone with you in a random locker room underneath Melbourne Park is always special Top work yourself, Mr May was running around Melburn Park all evening talking about your set

*remembers watching Steve play in the back room at @mosphere with condensed sweat dripping from the ceiling*

james holden remix?

Luvin the DT remix of heel & toe

Posted by Dean Millson on Oct-17-2005 04:46:

i was a little surprised that was on there actually. i've had a sneaky listen to a number of DT's forthcoming remixes and imo it's by far his worst work! He's done a beautiful number on a new Lee Commbs track who's name escapes me at the momnet, but yeah Heel & Toe didn't grab me much, but of course that's just my opinion

I haven't managed to get through all the DT mixes that were donated to me so I dont have much knowledge to draw from. I am not saying it's a masterpiece but I love the track...cant compare it to anything on the discussed mix as I dont have it yet

Anyway....CHABLO GOOBLA

Posted by Dean Millson on Oct-17-2005 06:05:

are you sure that that is the correct spelling?

I added the 'H' so it's relevant to the thread

the clear vinyl one with the seal (or something) on it, yeah? i'm not convinced that's actually a james holden remix - most distributors aren't putting that on their sales sheets - even the ones that usually drop pretty convincing hints that there's a 'real' name behind a record when there is (or isn't, half the time). but yeah, i don't reckon there's enough tight sine-y high end for james holden (unless he's losing his hearing?). Any inside goss?

of course i could be totally wrong - when owner of a lonely heart was only a dodgy whitey i was convinced it wasn't my boy max behind the controls either.

...and you still haven't answered my question about the trentemoller remix either v!

Posted by Dean Millson on Oct-18-2005 03:26:

After hearing it i'm not convinced it's Holden's remix either, however i've not heard the vinyl pressing going around so i can't really compare them anyway.

i heard last night that the long awaited Altitude balcony will be finally open next Friday at PF.

Can anyone confirm this rumour?
