| Originally posted by DaveSZ For one thing, it doesn't even load TA properly, and on other sites I had the same problem with graphics not loading. So I switched back to 1.06. Has anyone else had the same problems? What is the best browser these days? |
I use to use firefox all the time and ever since i upgraded to 1.07 its been shitty. It loads slow as hell. Ta sites work, but i do have problems with flash loading, i can't seem to install the flash player from macromedia for firefox, did it in other browsers and it works.
As for media player not loading,
If you have javascript disabled it will not load.
Right now im testing opera and it seems the fastest

Firefox is good, but Opera is better IMO (tho 8.5 seems to mess up on gmail for some reason).
www.opera.com get it, its free, and its 1000x faster than firefox.
I cant stand the gecko engines (the underlying code in firefox, mozilla, and netscape, yes they are all the same at the basic level) renderer, its all jerky and annoying... ahhh!!!
Ugh... someone needs to write some selfinstalling "malware" for IE that FIXES IT!
rant rant rant... gah...
I, as well as a lot of my friends have to code massive hacks for IE day and day out...
AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
