good one dude!

it took a time or two, but it REALLY grew on me. there is a ton of originality here, and I like how it's not as "massive" as many of the productions around right now. it's very stripped down and quite simple. I know everyone's knocking the clap, but it gets me every time.

besides, it's a GREAT vocal, and fits the mood of the track just right. josh & dave's vocals are awesome - they fit right in too. not my favorite G&D track to date persay, but definitely one of the most original - I'm sure it'll get even better with time.

I don't think it's anywhere near their best work, but it's still a catchy and original tune.

I still think they should stop this micky mouse shit and release Big Top - Sub tho

well i heard it a few times now and im actually beginning to like it

I really love the track. It's very catchy and Molly has a very powerful voice. I think they hit it right this time as they always do. It's their style and their sound. My two cents.

hasn't grown on me yet...

i think it's something about the clapping part

Posted by Candeeman on Oct-16-2005 15:17:

I think it's a great track.......I know there are several people that aren't feelin' it, but that's music I guess - it's subjective.

At the saaaaame tiiiiiiiiiiiiime,
Tracking treasure doooooooooooown.

Posted by Candeeman on Oct-16-2005 15:42:

Here are the lyrics if anyone is looking for them:

I know this will be something
I remember in my head(something i remember)
sharp words push me back
hanging on to anything I can(anything I can)

why do you tell me
only things I want to hear
why dont you tell me
this could just dissapear

at the same time
you keep tracking treasure down

cant stop im soked tonight
wanna find something I believe(something i believe)
open up take me in makes no sence
help me understand(help me understand)

why do you tell me
only things I want to hear
why dont you tell me
this could just dissapear

at the same time
you keep tracking treasure down

you tell me of pirate-ships and fairytales
you have me wishing that everything
was real

at the same time
at the same time
you keep tracking treasure down
at the same time.

Listening to this track on the Essential Selection right now, it's not bad. But it's definetly a G&D track, similar bass-lines and that same synth sound they've been using lately. I wonder if they're artist album is going to all sound similar?

edit
To lex:
This is NO house track

I can agree with most that something about Mollys vocals in this song just dont fit right. And in turn I think it hurt the song in the end.

However, her vocals in their other upcoming productions where they used her are amazing and any listener will realize soon enough as to why they chose her.

As for being able to spot that it's a G&D track I think this is obvious as I'm usually able to spot a G&D production/remix a mile away. They have their own unique sound and there's none other quite like it. It's highly recognizable for someone who enjoys their work.

Not a big fan of this one.
One of the worst fro G&D in sometime

Ubershit!

Rasta

I hate when I dont understand why a track is good. I always feel as if im not hearing something that other people are hearing, or maybe im not listening close enough...

But this definatly isnt the case, so I feel sorry for all those who cannot hear this TUNE!! Dont get why this is being called cheese or a bad production...

I haven't been listening to much trance/electronica lately, but when I read this thread I hunted down a setrip of this. I loved it from first listen. Yes the vocals are repetitive, but I think they're rather catchy and they work very well with the track. The claps don't bother me either, I rather like them actually. I give it a 8.5/10.

I don't understand the 'shit' responses.

I really like it, nice vocals, love the mix of the different kind of vocals at the end. I think G&D always brings creative music again and again.

Obviously you wouldn't you like the track.

whoever has been lucky enough to listen to the slow version will find it better than the slow version....
imo G&D should have a 2nd cd with all their slow songs...

Posted by Geoff on Nov-06-2005 02:28:

i love this song, guess no one agrees with me

Posted by weymouth on Nov-06-2005 03:55:

it's fun. I wouldnt say it is horrible or good but it is a fun song. Reminds me of Cyndi Lauper songs. Girls just wanna have funnnn....
