Wouldn't you think a DJ of his caliber should be true to his fans as well and not take us for such morons??? I seen PVD at AMNESIA for christ sake and he was the biggest disappointment out of anybody I seen in Ibiza. Before that night, Amnesia was pretty much the only place I expected PVD so be at his prime (well besides anywhere in Berlin) but I was wrong....his set was total garbage....ATRC....give me a fucking break dude. Ill prob go see him at Roxy, but only because alot of my friends will be there but I don't expect much out of him at all.

Im actually looking more forward to seeing Tiesto at Crobar on the 26th.

c'mon, you can't let one old song ruin a night. And I bet Amnesia went insane when he played it.

Personaly I have kind of outgrown PVD a little, my tastes have changed. But PVD at Roxy is gonna be for old time's sake.

i'm in total agreement with brian bc i experienced that piece of SHIT set that he played that night @ amnesia- i was in utter shock, just like the rest of us. brian even took off his vandit shirt and turned it inside out before putting it back on- we were embarrassed by pvd, seriously.

u know, i really do keeping HOPING pvd starts playing stuff other than pure limburger... a little part of still hasn't given up but i've been let down since mid 2003... he's just about gone forever for me personally..

I havent downloaded any of them, but 2 to listen to would be his Essential Mix from Ibiza, and his Cream Amensia 2005 set.

I dont see why people who dont like paul continue to go pay $45+ to go see him... if you dont like him, stop going to see him so you dont have to continue bitching about how much he sucks... seems pretty logical to me. plus, id expect him to be at his prime in nyc alot more than in ibiza...

yup... scratch "northern lights" tho, i dont think hell be playing that (i hope not, i dont like it)... "pictures" is one to look out for, i will go bonkerrrrrs when he plays that, i love it... hes been playin Mac Zimms' "shock" and "kinetic" a lot lately in each set which is pretty interesting... and yes that "playground" track will no doubt be played... the question is... what is he opening with? if the 6 hours thing is true, lets hope he keeps the energy throughout all 6 hours... lets take bets on opening track!

I saw him in CP this summer, he was actually pretty damn good, tracks were a bit cheesy, but his djing was spot on, good set, I'd never pay 45$ to go see him again though....that's a rip off. He makes too much money, he doesn't care as much, i'm glad he's doing a six hr set, hopefully you will get your money's worth. Have fun!

Who pays $45+? My tix were $25 and my Central Park tix were $20. Just get them in advance, so if he does play a lackluster set, you're not kicking yourself later because you spent so much.

There are 2, one of them was recorded in June or July, the other one was recorded in August (Essential Mix).

really?? all i know of is he played the other side @ cafe mambo for the essential selection in august, i haven't see any ibiza sets for 2005 tho....

i know there is the 04 set from july and a couple 03 sets in 02-03 but that's about it....
