Armin all the way.

Did you see any of the double digit spots? Like Felix Da Housecat being considered by some as the best? Please, this whole poll is nonsense. Just like any other poll or list in the business it's all done for promotion. The results may not even be real. Let Tiesto be number one, it don't mean shit and is not worth being discouraged over it. The poll is not even voted on by 1/100th of all the EDM fans.

oh another thread yay!

I would LOVE to see Judge Jules number one. Always putting out quality sets...better than Tiestos altho i do have some old school Tiesto sets and they are off the hook....best trance ive heard--bangin beats and repetitive but hey...its called trance for a reason and dont know why people complain about repetitiveness....i dont know what sets they are but i got 5 CD's of live sets that nobody heard of.

Armin Van Buuren for number 1 AVE IT!! the guy has done so much work and deserves it

i think tiesto's blew it by not turning up to last years event. even if he does win the votes, id be very suprised if DJ Mag let him be #1 again after he pissed on them last year.

Cuop, why would you be surprised? What makes you think Tiesto's abscence last year could justify a fraud? Is there at least any evidence that DJMag committed fraud before?

there is no evidence to suggest that. Just going from expirience before if someone does a stunt similar to not turning up to collect the award, they have a tendancy not to receive the award next time around.

I have no facts to back up this theory, this is just my personal 'gut feeling' - just have to wait for the results.

Its a well known fact that DJMag hate that Tiesto has been no 1 for 3 years now, and they feel as if he is milking it for all its worth. Also he really pissed them off last year when he didnt turn up. I can see where Coup is coming from as i was thinking the same thing the other day. I doubt they would actually go that far but i bet they have been thinking about it!

Posted by The Master on Oct-19-2005 15:23:

I would not label DJMag's poll as an "award" but more as a survey. For that reason, the only relevant thing is people's support against Tiesto, and not his arrogance or any other personal interaction with DJMag. That's why he's been number one 3 times in a row, and much probably will continue being number one for a long time, even if they don't like it.

Personally i would rather paul take it even though he has sucked balls this year but more so to the fact he deserves for his earier work.

Armin has a artist album that most core fans hate to death but he has got a lot bigger on a mainstream level. Personally if i had to choose between him and tijs i would give tiesto another win just cause armin is complete DOG SHIT for trance music.

Posted by DJ Nickazz on Oct-19-2005 16:38:

Shivers..the sensation anthem...Armin's really going mainstream but I still think Tisto will beat him. But I reckon he gets the #2 spot.
PvD and Sasha will be 3 and 4 I guess.

it fucken better be DJ Mikey Mike cos i have 100 bucks riding on it!

I think that the only person who can knock off Tiesto is Armin and he had my vote.

I think Paul van Dyk, thought it wont be shocking if I see Tiesto again.

Posted by Skagdog on Oct-19-2005 20:47:

I think the top 3 will prob be same as last year.
1. Tiesto
2. PVD
3. Armin

But if there is to be a new number 1 it can only be PVD, and if thats the case Tiesto will be number 2.

Armin just isnt as big as these 2 and his nights in Ibiza didnt pack out like the Cream nights did and ive even seen Gods in England half empty with Armin on.

I would like to see the top 4 like this:

1. Paul Van Dyk
2. Ferry Corsten
3. Tiesto
4. Armin

This is how the top 4 djs have rated for me this year.

I wish they canceled the fucking scam already.
