did you see this quote from desyn regarding the females from your area?:

So then, is there a particular country where the women are more, I guess flirtatious than usual, in your experience as a DJ?

I love your questions! Well, there are really.

I would say (starts laughing) for guaranteed action: Eastern Europe - Poland, Romania, Bulgaria. For all the other DJs reading this interview, who are looking for some girls, they are the countries. Get there!

Oh, and the Ukraine has got to be possibly, the one with the most, to put it nicely, open-minded girls, or flirtatious, as you put it. (laughs)

Its true though,

Last year you had the Polish "mafia" dealing drugs left and right for half a year at Vision (it was almost like a goddamn kiosk on the main floor) - now they are all gone - presumably arrested/deported, killed, hiding out at Jedynka or Club Euro, or in Miami. Or you had the Lithuanians last year beating the crap out of anyone that moved at Crobar.

At Vision or Sound-bar, at least a quarter of their clientele on any given night is Eastern European - i'd probably peg it even closer to 1/3.

I worked as a radio host for a Russian radio station on the AM band last year and we ended up doing a survey with a marketing team to gauge how many potential listeners we could tap in Chicago area. The Russian population alone just in Chicago and surrounding suburbs was at 950,000 or so and that's not counting all the other Eastern European nationalities that can speak Russian. Frankly, when I'm at Vision or Sound-Bar, I don't feel too far removed from my home country.

On and the stories... man every time I see a shirtless guy I can already tell that he is from my part of the world - kind of embarassing. Or when I see like a dozen people all holding each other by shoulders and jumping up and down - that's another dead giveaway, nobody else does that.

Its like all the stereotypes you were were ever fed about euros crammed into one night: hilarious.

as for the Desyn comment - that's true in just about every respect. there is so much to say about that and so much i've seen in that regard - but i'll keep it off the boards.
