Yeah but hes been using CD-R's since late 2002 I think but I deff. saw him using them in Feb.2003

plus fucking one. that's ridiculous. DOOMBOT- you are a retard.

pitch bend. 'nuff said.

might just be the shitty decks ive been using, but pitch bends are so bleeding obvious to me, whereas a nice gentle nudge on the platters is much smoother.

comeon Tiesto whores for the sake of God if Tiesto himself admitted that he sucks at mixing and even mentioned himself trainwrecking then can't you accept the fact that your hero is not the flawless god you thought?
give me a break.

but much less accurate imo. a couple of minor pitch bends here and there and you won't hear the difference.

Tell me about it. But then there are millions of people out there who can whistle no problemo, but wouldn't grasp calculus even if you taught them well.

The point is not that the rift between vinyl and CD is as big (or as non-compatible) as whistling and maths. It's that saying "I find it easier to CDJ than spin vinyl" does not ensure that the whole planet will fit into that statement.

At least he'll admit having problems with it.

Ive got alot of buddys who mix fine on tables but cant learn to use a cdj's properly at all. Its true if Tijs has problem with cd's he should stick to vinyl why he doesnt..who knows.

People act like other top dj's dont f**k up though.

men, mason doesnot play a violin, he plays a detuned DUCK"!!111
he playing along with lethal industry ruins the original piece...
by the way, good mix and video...

back in the late 90s there were a decent amount of good tiesto sets and ill admit to liking a few of his productions but i fail to see what was so amazing about that video. it was interesting but nothing i havent seen before, nor anything that commended a mindblowing great mix

Here is an October 2005 video on him using vinyl. As usual the mixing is superb. Eventually he will master the art of mixing on CD's

Tiesto Powermix VIDEO - October 2005

I have a video of him wrecking it on vinyl. The beats start drifting, he goes to correct but overcorrects, and the beats go opposite each other. He lets this wreck play for a good 30 seconds before giving up and just cutting the mix.
