I really wanted Ferry Corsten to win the list this year. I've always loved him and his stuff, But he has been much weaker than before, Unfortunately he's played too identical stuff all year long, Mostly anyways.

I voted for PVD. He should have been #1 long ago. Tiesto shouldn't have been the winner for the past 2 years, so who cares, as long as you get your due sooner or later. But realistically, Armin should have gotten it this year, but you all know he will get it sooner or later as well.

I also just found out that I am number 2 this year in DJ Mag's top 100 list. Tiesto does not say that PvD is the winner because of the last 12 months (it might be arguable that PvD was not the best DJ in the last 12 months, but that would for example mean that Tiesto would not even appear in the Top 10). Indeed, he states that PvD is #1 now because of the fantastic job he did over more than a decade. And that is certainly true. Armin van Buuren by the way said exactly the same in an interview during the DJMag Top100 party in London...
