Wasn't Inolver done on Ableton and it came out in June '04, so he had to have been using it for probably at least 6 months prior. Still, not back in '02

Well yeah...but LIVE he wasnt using it till October of 04'

I think he's been using ableton for a while now, since around the beginning/middle of 2004. All the new media has been about the whole Maven thing, which he unveiled at the end of 04 or start of '05. But he was definitely using it for a while before Maven.

All I remember is that there was a lot of TALK about Maven and Ableton in the summer of 2004. Don't remember when he actually started using it full-time though.

yeah yeah.
i already ordered it.
just wanted to complain a bit about spending money.

I meant to say that (from what I've heard) he was using a computer+ableton for a long time, through much of 2004. It just wasn't until Maven/new years/Fundacion that people started to take notice of it. I could be wrong though, but the evidence supports it. I saw him play twice in 2004 and I don't even remember, was too f'ed up both times I'm sure someone else went to a show of his around that time who can confirm or deny my statement.

ps - where've you been Zebra? I haven't seen you on aim in months.

Just because its on a store to order doesnt mean its actually available. The release of this DVD has been a matter of discussion for a long long time with much rumour and speculation that has turned out to not be true.

Even now, after a bit of digging, one site gives the distribution company who's putting it out (Caroline Distribution). If you were to go to their site, it lists it with an odd release date, and mentions its coming out on System Recordings.

Its funny that theres no mention of it on the System Recordings site, or Sasha or John Digweed's sites for that matter.

paranoid? maybe its all a big joke
on the other hand i can see your point, maybe the answer is as easy as its a non-official (bootleg) dvd therefor not mentioned on either sashas or digweeds sites...

The fact most of the footage of the tour was filmed by the DJs themselves would make that unlikely, and I cant see TCA, Sasha or Digweed's management companies allow the use of footage unofficially.
