Speaking of wanting to hear... I'm dying to hear him play All I Wanna Do... he played it at Avalon a year or so ago while I was in the fucking bathroom.... I think I'm gonna make a sign before I head out
I was actually a little disappointed with Ferry's set last night. Thought he played a little too much rough/edgy-type (even rock-sounding) trance rather than the dance-able, uplifting, energetic tracks I've known him to play. Is it just me, or does Crobar's sound system suck really bad!? However, the highlight of his set was this remix I heard of Reflekt's "Need To Be Loved". Does anyone know who remixed that version Ferry played? (...would someone please repair those television screens!!) -lol

Well I beg to differ... I personally found that set to be SICK, he played like everything I'd ever want to hear... What a long night, didn't end up getting home till 10:45 this morning, I just woke up lo l. Saw Big Mike and Sveta in the house. Ferry's cool as shit, I've met him before but never really talked, woo can't wait till next month lol. Okay back to the couch for me

i like the system there, thought it was great... but maybe thats because i was really drunk hmmm
great night, great music, great fun
next month bitches! lol
My overall take was that it was good, but not spectacular. I wasn't too keen on Ferry's track selection in the first hour and a half of his set - a good amount of tech stuff and he also flirted with some breaks for a bit. Like CJinnewyork said, it wasn't completely the 100% uplifting mix that I was thinking he would do (a la the "Mixed Live" CD from a few years ago). I only stayed until about 5:15 so I don't know how much longer he went and where he kept the music. Also, for a major DJ at Crobar, the crowd last night was the smallest I've seen it. The place was nowhere near as packed as it gets for PVD or Armin, with plenty of room to move around and dance. However, I also noticed that the crowd hit its peak in terms of capacity at about 3 AM and slowly started to diminish afterwards. (Ferry came on at 1:30.) Overall, I had a good time, but I'm not going to rush to see Ferry again for a while.

Hot damn... I love breakbeat so much. I swear, I could be completely dead at a club... but the second I hear that break, I get right back up and dance. Only type of music that actually gives me a second wind. I don't know what I would do with a whole set of breaks...
Hey everybody. It was nice to see some familiar faces and meet new ones.
Serezhka was great as always.
AS for Ferry it wasn't the best i have heard of him. A bit too hard for my like. Highlights - "Without you" by Dodzilla and Big Mike's remix of Kyoto. I know how much people don't like "Rock you body, rock" but i think it's a damn quality track that i enjoy to hear any time.
