Just to let you know, you are wasting your time and effort with Diginut,he will just start calling you names,he is hopeless.

Honestly, are you that daft? |
Ever hear of the Illuminati? How about the Freemasons?
Maybe people believe that if there was a conspiracy, it would be easily visible & there would be proof of one.
Do you believe the government would let such proof exist? No they wouldnt. Which is why you dont see any solid evidence supporting the small amount of people who believe that 9/11 was all a lie.
But if you look at all the strange behavior on the governments part & use some common sense. You will realize that there is more to what happend then what the "offical report" says happend.
Sure, i'll admit that we might be wrong, that there might not be a conspiracy. Fack, we just might all be crazy in the head.
But at least we are asking questions! WE arent going to just let thousands of people die without getting some good answers to the weird reports that followed 9/11.
Why did the CIA.. one of the most well funded government programs, fail when it came to protecting the US?
& dont give me that "they didnt take BinLaden seriously" crap. Cuz they take EVER threat to america seriously!

Okay, there goes any credibility you might have had to start with. So long, and thanks for comin' out!
There were no weird reports after 9/11. All of the "weird" information was pretty much made up by the conspiracy nuts.
We asked questions. We got answers. They were all in the 9/11 Commission Report. Try reading something factual instead of the garbage that gets posted on paranoid blogs.
And to the other dude: I don't watch CNN or read the Star. I get enough of the loony left from reading this forum.

I wasn't telling you to stop asking questions. The US government does do some very shady things. However, the Pentagon conspiracy has been disproven a long time ago. I watched that flash soo long ago, and I thought to myself, wow, that did seem pretty convincing. Then like a year later I found the PM article, saw the pictures of the plane wreckage at the Pentagon, and thought "well, whadda ya know. It seems the flash was just making shit up."

And I want to hear you say something that has any scientific basis whatsoever. Leave the 'could haves' and 'would haves' out of this. The further this discussion continues, the further we are straying from the point - until you somehow prove the conspiracies, all of your talk about who had to gain what and how the government could have done this to gain political leverage is just speculation. Nothing more.

Dude, seriously, do you not realize that the Illuminati and the Freemasons were inventions of the paranoid schizophrenics? They're delusions. They aren't real. THERE IS NO SUCH THING.
Christ, it's unbelievable how gullible some people can be. That's what happens when you start refusing to "trust" the media or any legitimate source of information though... you start believing any old crap. Trusting no one is, at a fundamental level, the same as believing everyone.

The same can be said for you.
We might just be a bunch of crazy conspiracy theory fucks who believe in bullshit to make the world seem more interesting.
But there is a chance that we are correct. And that the rest of the population like yourself has been lied to and deceived since the ancient times.
We can argue intil the end of the earth, & we will never know who is trully correct.
If you think im wrong, & that you are 100% correct. Then you have already limited your mind. And there is no more reason to continue arguing.
Enjoy.

You're treating this as though it's merely a matter of opinion or perspective. I'll give credence to your assertions when you back them up with evidence. Otherwise, I'll draw my conclusions from the evidence that actually does exist. I have no reason to believe that everyone except for you and the other wackos have been feeding me baloney, and I have every reason to believe the opposite.
There's a chance that the earth is flat. I haven't personally walked in a straight line for long enough to prove that it's a sphere. But I've seen more than enough evidence to know beyond a reasonable doubt that it's the latter. Same goes for this 9/11 nonsense - provide us with some proof, rather than idle speculation and paranoid fantasies, and maybe you'll be perceived as something other than a crackpot.
Paranoid schizophrenics have perfectly reasonable and valid explanations for their apparent persecution. But they're still wrong. There's no evidence to back up those assertions and plenty of evidence that it's all in their heads.
Posted by cyper on Dec-07-2005 03:47:
Thats the problem. THERE IS NO ACTAUL PROOF. Otherwise, it wouldnt be called a conspiracy theory.
All we have is just a bunch of very weird coincidences.
I actaully hope there isnt a conspiracy. Cause life seems alot more peaceful knowing we arent ruled by an Elite few.
But because of those weird coincidences.. we shouldnt 100% rule out the possibility of a conspiracy either.

Yes, we should. Coincidences are just that - coincidences - unless there is evidence to prove a causal connection. We need not concern ourselves with theories for which there is no supporting evidence - doing so would bring the progress of the entire scientific world to a screeching halt.
And once again I'll direct you to the fact that most of the "coincidences" you're referring to aren't coincidences at all, they're just complete fabrications by wack jobs (or more likely, in my opinion, ordinary dudes trying to see just how gullible the conspiracy nuts are and laughing their asses off later on).

Thats just your opinion. And if you believe everyone should think your opinion is the only correct one, then you are nothing more then a dictator.
Also.. isnt the scientific community based on creating a theory/hypothesis.. then trying to prove or disprove that hypothesis?
Some of which may never be proven or disproven?

As far as I know, that's what the conspiracy theorists have always been called.
Use whatever term you like... wackos, cuckoos, wack jobs, nutcases, wingnuts, mental cases, crackpots, psychos, madmen, loonie bins, ding-a-lings, kooks, cranks, yo-yos, neurotics...
If you guys thought I had very little patience for Lefties, I have NONE for conspiracy theorists. At least the political nuts focus on issues that can, at some level, be thought of as a matter of opinion. Conspiracy nuts just make shit up to try to convince people about the latest hare-brained government "plot". They're proven dead wrong every time and always find some horrible excuse (usually, questioning the validity of sources that any sane person would have no problem with).
Posted by neuromancer on Dec-07-2005 04:23:
Ohh dude ^^^ .. you are hilarious .. Cheers!
The conspiracy session can be closed now.

No, actually, it's not my opinion, it's called the Scientific Method and it's been accepted almost universally for the past few millenia (not counting the brief period in the Dark Ages where religious nuts tried to destroy science as we know it).
| quote: |

The scientific method is based on creating a POSITIVE, TESTABLE, and FALSIFIABLE hypothesis and then seeing if it can be disproven. It is absolutely imperative that a hypothesis meet those requirements, otherwise it is not scientific.
POSITIVE means that the theory implies something DOES occur... not that something does NOT occur. Attacking the validity of other theories without foundation is NOT scientific.
TESTABLE means that it is actually POSSIBLE to prove the theory based on observable evidence. If there is no possible way to prove a hypothesis, then it is unscientific, and can never be accepted as a theory.
FALSIFIABLE means that it is actually possible to DISPROVE the theory based on observable evidence. If there is no possible way to disprove a hypothesis, then once again it is an invalid hypothesis.
Hypotheses which do not meet these criteria are called "catch-all" arguments. They are fallacious, they are objectively impossible, and they are scientifically unacceptable.

That's exactly why I love all these conspiracy crackpots - everytime you state a valid source, they always come back with one response "pfft, he's been paid off by the govenment. I, with no technical background at all, know much more about the topic at hand than the person who's been doing this for the last 20 years."
Posted by cyper on Dec-07-2005 04:34:
So in that case.. we should throw ALL religion out the window, since none of it has any scientific proof whatsoever.
hmm.. now im starting to like your thinking.

Yes - it's almost a narcissistic behaviour. I'm not saying that all conspiracies are impossible, but I have to believe that someone who not only believes but *insists upon* their conspiracy theories in the face of overwhelming contradicting evidence is actually mentally ill (the paranoid narcissist explains it pretty well to me, although I'm not a psychologist so I can't say that for sure).

oh wow... Freemasons aren't real? Are you kidding? Or do you just mean not in the control-the-world-conspiracy sense? Or do you mean the link between Freemasons and so-called Illuminati? Hope I'm reading it wrong.
(you probably have an idea of how many masonic lodges there are here in Toronto alone so I must just be reading it wrong...)

diginut, other then writing all the big words in this thread you still have not proven anything yourself.
for years people have been told that JFK was shot in the back of the head when the video clearly shows the bullet hitting him in the front. interested to hear your thoughts on this one.

How about the Pearl Harbor deception?
Where the American Government knew about the attack which was to take place, yet they did nothing to stop it. Then they blamed the Jap & made the public believe it was a "surpise attack"
Also, 9/11 is has been called the "New Pearl Harbor" disaster.
But im sure its all nothing & there is no conspiracy....

If you asked me I would have to say if the evidence in the documentary "911-In Plane Sight" is authentic then there is no way any medium or large aircraft collided with the Pentagon building.
I think they fabricated that the Boing 757 aircraft was flown into it
because they don't want the world to think the world's most secure building is not so secure!
Posted by solgrabber on Dec-08-2005 02:02:
yes that was a good documetary, i have tons of them archived which show tons of evidence that there was a lot more then what the government and media sold to the public.
diginut can you use your scientific method to explain how a boeing 757 fit into that small hole in the pentagon? it was shown only a few times on national air, i wonder why?
