i think that what he was saying is that we might want to have some innovative booking for Bal En Blanc, for the last couple of years it has been a mash-up of, Armin Van Buuren , Deep Dish, Peter Rauhofer, Tiesto and Paul Van Dyke. Not that these artists are not good artists but it would be fun to have some big names other than the ones mentioned earlier

Some names that have not been to Beb in it's 13 years. Although i have to say that i think that Infected Mushroom are not fit for a party like Bal En Blanc i have to say that it's a step in the right direction, keep up the good work.

Paul van Dyk - The only 'superstar' DJ that I didn't see live yet.
Sander Kleinenberg - Heard a lot of good things about him, got his latest compilation (This Is Everybody On Tour) and it's massive. I heard he destroyed last year (or was the year before?).
Marco V - Got his last album (200v), has some nice tunes, the DVD contains some footage of him playing at big events, the guy is fantastic - so much energy.
John '00' Fleming - Hmmm.. would be interesting.

Here's what i think that the line-up should look like

Techno/trance room

09:30 to 01:00 Nick Pilon ( because he's the best trance dj in Montreal )
01:00 to 03:00 Eddie Halliwell ( or another rising Trance dj )
03:00 to 06:00 Armin Van buuren ( 'cause he's the best OR pvd 'cause he's #1)
06:00 to 09:00 Mauro picotto ( or Sven Vath because they both haven't been in Montreal for way too long )
09:00 to 12:00 Preach ( because he deserves to play in front of a larger crowd and not be the opener )

House Room

09:00 to 12:00 Marco G ( he does a nice job each week @ Dag opening for every dj on the planet and he has proved himself in the last two BeB )
12:00 to 02:00 Desyn Masiello ( He's the next big thing and he needs to play Beb )
02:00 to 05:00 Roger Sanchez ( Because he Rocks . PERIOD )
05:00 to 09:00 Derrick Carter ( Because he's the best house dj there is )
09:00 to 12:00 Peter Rauhofer ( because he's a resident @ Beb Probably since he has played every edition i think )

Now there would be a line-up for everybody it would bring a truckload of people and it would be somewhat innovative and it would be a way out of the usual Deep Dish + Rauhofer in the house room. Not that i don't like deep dish, i Love them, but they need to step aside and let someone else close the party. The idea is to also be a mixture between household names ( Armin, Sanchez, Rauhofer, Carter, Picotto ) and some names that deserve to have their place and that will be future heroes ( Preach, Marcog, Desyn Masiello, Eddie Halliwell). Plus the time slot are made so that each person could catch a little time of each dj. I Hate it when there's two acts that i would want to see that starts and ends at the same time, and i'm sure i'm not the only one.

I honestly think that criticsm of this event was coming after the performance offered last year.Aria isnt working with 514 and it shows with the bookings offered at Celebration as well as the cancelation of Cream.Bal en Blanc is the last remaining massive with any hope of stealing the show.With the performances offered last year it would be a shame that the public might lose interest in THE massive not to miss in this city.

I 100% agree with Krinker that it would be wicked to see some DJs that haven't been around here in some time!

PVD is needed....now that he's #1, he'd be the MAN to headline the rave of the year in Montreal, I think he would fkin destroy the place...Just PLEASE no Tiesto no Armin...I like Krinker's SVEN suggestion also, we need this man in Montreal ASAP, and what better place than at BEB!

I also liked the idea of Preach of course, Marco V, and Nick Pilon is absolutely essential IMO!

there's like 30 djs i would rather check out before IM.

I am looking very forward to this years BeB
so hopefully we will see a decent lineup of Djs not regular to montreal
but i think the best suggestion so far was the non-synchronous set times
cuz there was a lot of stuff i missed out on last year cuz there were two dj playing good sets at the same time and i had to pick one....well aside of not being able to leave the room when tiesto was spinning cuz it was too damned crowded

last year it seemed like bal en blanc just wanted to make as much money as possible by booking tiesto and benni benassi i heard tiesto alone brought an extra 4000 ppl so im not getting my hopes up this year for anything crazy becuase theres a good chance its just gonna be a few commerically known djs so theres 15000 people there again

Not even Sasha+ Digweed can compete with all the n00b out of towners who'd kill their first born to see Tijs...

I wouldn't even blame ARIA/BBCM for bringing him back, it's just business. I just hope they balance the cheese off with something solid....

1. A massive set-up a la BLACK & BLUE.
2. Non-constricting set times.
3. More space... WAY more space.
4. DJ video feeds projected on big screens.
5. Fruit stands... PLEASE GIVE ME A FRUIT STAND!!!
6. CALIBRATE THE FKN SOUND BETTER. HOLY SHIT THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN GOING DEAF FOR 2 DAYS...

although I am not big on trance any longer.. you honestly would rather have Above & Beyond then Tiesto trust me... they are wicked to see!

and as that other dj (since you have Armin and Schulz already from the Armada label) you may as well add Perry O'Neil to that mix as well

OMG! I have never been so deaf as when I left Bal en Blanc....Me and my friend were walking the streets at 10am yelling at each other at the top of our lungs just to have a conversation...it was really bad! I agree with the video feeds, that was a GREAT idea at Swirl. And BEB definately needs a crazier setup. The one last year was nice, but neh...the Black and Blue one was ridiculous this year, and there is much cooler stuff they can do than have a bunch of white flowers hanging from the ceiling.

and GREEN LASERS ffs, those improve a party by at least 20% imo.
