I had a really sweet guy send me flowers all the way from a different country.

18 long stemmed roses in a glass vase, a box of chocolates and a note! It showed up on the day I went to a friends funeral, and it picked up my spirits tremendously.

The sweetest thing I think a guy has ever done for me, and I will never ever forget him!

Thank you Floorfiller

that's a fine gesture of good will - very nice Floorfiller - impressed.

i got flowers the otherday for my bday, that and breakfast and presents in bed!

i had flowers sent to my mom's office one time to my mom on MY bday a few years ago, to thank her for my life. she really liked that idea . that and my sisters bday is a few days after mine, it totally overshadowed her bday....hehehe...

i'm probably one of the few girls in the world who HATES getting flowers... they're just so typical and i think it's silly to give something that's eventually going to die. i want to receive gifts that i can keep and that i can use every day. not to mention, if a guy wants to make an impression, he should give something that isn't given by 95% of other guys in the world... it's sweet but just blah.

Yeah, you're more of a "bouqet of external hard drives" kind of girl, huh?

No think about it, roses die...they get old and wilter. A potato, like your love, lasts forever. The only thing a rose does, like a bad relationship, is sit there and get old. But potatoes, like a good relationship, change and develop over time.

You could have french fries, mashed potatoes, cream of potato soup, chicken and potatoes, steak and potatoes, etc...And after a while, like a good relationship, the potato even starts to grow extremities.

So next time you want to tell someone you love them, buy them a potato.
