Latest news that I've heard on Keane is that he's on his way too Real Madrid, Don't know how true that is though..

in your opinion...but the EPL is the most watched League around the world. You couldn't pay me to watch Serie A. I just love that "let 1 nill them to death" philosophy, plus the swan diving whining Italians.

Just because it's the most watched, doesn't need to mean it's the best one, I hope you do realize that.

You're one of those that doesn't really watch the Italian league and hear stuff from others about it.

They dive alot, they're Italians..

But it's ok, If you like that EPL Kick & Go football, then it's up to you.

Posted by Dj Smitty20 on Dec-04-2005 02:25:

it's the most watched, which means more people would rather watch it. Saying which league is the best is purely subjective.

I've watched Serie A games before and they're boring, plain and simple.

make a poll on here to get a small sample. I'm pretty sure the EPL would dominate but since I dont' really care, I'm not going to make the poll.

I've got to disagree with you about Serie A-games being as you're describing them, boring, plain and simple. I think the opposite, The EPL is very boring meanwhile, many matches is plain, there's mostly play on the middle and that's what I call simple and boring.

Serie A has got the better teams, and there's alot more play and techincal skill in that league. EPL hasn't got much of that, but they're playing until the end of the game.

I think the EPL is sooooooo overrated, so I'm watching it sometimes..

Posted by Dj Smitty20 on Dec-04-2005 11:35:

well that's your opinion. most of us would disagree here. And the better teams? The EPL has the most followed, historic teams on the planet...I don't know where you're coming from on that.

But anyway, Keane going to Italy is unlikey anyway. He has cited his young family and has no desire to uproot them. He will stay in England or move to Scotland to play for Celtic, his boyhood team. But he lives near Liverpool and Everton would be ideal. I just wonder if they have enough money for him...but he'd be a great fit.

I like this discussion

I was talking about how good the Italian-teams is atm, Sure, The EPL has got Chelsea, Probably one of the strongest teams, if not the strongest in the world on the paper. Even though they lost too Betis in the CL this year, But who cares, They're through too the next round together with Liverpool.

We've got two different points of view, You obviously love the EPL and I've always been a very big fan of Serie A. Don't laugh now, But I used to watch the English Championship before, Such a nice attitude, and no one seems to handle the ball, hehe

I agree on that if Keane is going to move, It's most likely going to be a british club who's going to sign him.

Posted by Dj Smitty20 on Dec-04-2005 11:48:

his play is inspired at least...though he's a bit fat and out of shape. He creates a lot of plays and scoring chances....but getting Roy Keane would help him out even more.

looks like he'll be making a move to celtic now. None to pleased aboput it either with the wages we're reportedly giving him.

Posted by zoric on Dec-15-2005 12:06:

I read that Celtic was very interested and that it would be something out of that for sure.

It's confirmed now, i notice tho that dermot desmond will be paying half his wages, so it's actually working out quite well. The only thing we need to worry about now, is who to take out a team that is playing very well to fit him in.

Posted by Dj Smitty20 on Dec-15-2005 19:21:

Everton just can't sign anybody, even older, washed up stars like Keane. And I don't mean that as an offence to him.
