I would never buy HP laptop, even tho I am HP certified and can get a decent discount. They are complete crap. My clients bought 3 laptops about 2 years ago. Within the first 1.5 years, 2 of them were dead (and out of warranty). Even shitty Acer laptop outlived them. Thanks, but no, thanks

Celeron is not a processor I would consider for any purchase. Centrino is another story...

P4 may be fast but try finish watching a 2 hour movie on the plane...

keep in mind that even tho Centrino speed is rated slower, in reality it is close to or surpasses the higher-rated HT processors. As an example, 1.7 centrino can outperform (in every category) 3.2 P4 HT. Why? More L2 cache. 512KB vs 2MB on centrino, with better power efficiency. Can't do any serious gaming on battery but my work laptop can last about 5-6 hours on battery, while I watch a movie, do my documentation, or surf the net on Verizon Wireless Broadband. Tho with wireless broadband my battery life drops to about 3-4 hours, as the card is not power-consumption optimized and drains the battery like crazy.
